Yeah the only thing I don't like about the list is every time new ponies comes out, a new list gets made and I'm back near the bottom, even if I was almost at the top on the last list.

Honestly? I'm not sure how I'd run it. But being that I'm at the very bottom of the list, it's almost guaranteed that if someone found an extra glitter that I needed, I wouldn't get it. I don't have a problem with that, though, as I'm totally cool with just helping people out.

Speaking of... I found a glitter Big Mac today at Barnes & Noble. $30 shipped sound good? I'm not sure who's next on the list for it, but it's up for grabs!

I wasn't asking in a negative way just looking to see if there were suggestions that maybe could be implemented. I do understand those at the bottom feeling like they will never get the ponies they are after, however the list was an attempt to fight prices on eBay. I know a few pony hunters myself included who result to eBay any way when a pony comes up within a certain price range. Some people do not want to pay more than the retail price, others willing pay more. Some collectors are impatient (guilty) and just can't wait for their turn to come up so they too result to eBay.

A obvious negative of the list is the seniority or ordering of the list but I also have no suggestion on organizing/rotating or randomizing the list. One suggestion is making friends with people on the list. I have publicly and secretly helped fellow pony hunters acquire ponies at descent prices. Not for personal benefit but because I know them and their price range. This again goes back to what a person is willing to pay for a pony. Not a part of any other pony community but it appears the Funko vinyl is becoming popular elsewhere. The ever growing popularity of MLP, chases and Funko paying retail might become a thing of the past.

If i'm not mistaken, the order of the list was determined by who said they wanted to be included in the list and begins back at the top when a new batch of ponies are released.

The list is different each time depending on who says they want to be on the list. In addition, if there are people who have gone above and beyond in picking up extra ponies for people and selling them at cost those people have been bumped up.

I was in the middle of sending a PM but I think I will post here for everyone. The point of this list was to help people get the ponies and it was agreed that the ponies would be passed along at cost plus actual shipping. The deal originally was that anyone who did not agree to this would not be on the list. We are not here to make few bucks off of each other.

Umm... hmmm, I can't remember how much it is to ship a Funko pony, but I believe it's between $7 and $8, so I guess it would be about $20 total for the glitter Big Mac I have if the next person on the list wants it?

Do you guys use Paypal or USPS.com to ship? You get tracking for free and you don't have to wait on the line at the post office since you are printing your label at home. You also get a discount on the shipping.

I use Paypal, but I sadly don't have a printer at home right now.

Although, if I end up at my grandma's house any time this week, I can print a label out there if need be.

That's true.

The nice thing is that my post office just got a machine that prints out shipping labels and stuff as long as the shipping is within the US. Even when there's a line inside, the machine barely ever has people so I use that. It's pretty convenient. Plus, if I heard the worker correctly, the machine can be used 24 hours a day.

I can be taken off for Big Mac, and that trade for Trixie, Twilight, and Fluttershy didn't work out. It was getting way too fishy, and I did not want to get scammed again. I mean, I get people have life's, but the guy wasn't returning my messages for days, even after he saw them.

I went to hot topic today but had no luck. Ive been visiting a new topic now since I moved back in September and the people haven't got to know me yet. I kinda wish I was still close to my old store, at least they posted on facebook when they received a glitter in stock.

I was wondering - Is there a difference between Hot Topic Exclusive and Hot Topic Pre-Release?

I noticed my Gold Smaug sticker just says exclusive, but the Celestia I found in store says pre-release. I wondered if that meant the princesses are pre-released only in hot topic, but then later will be available at other stores..?

Um yeah. I guess I "need" a lot more of them than I realized. I'm determined to get them all. Haha

I had a horrible time with getting my Princess Luna. The website originally said 11/4 and since I work in the mall, I started checking then. The website was fixed and the date became 11/24 and again, I kept checking in. Then my best friend ordered his on 11/25 apparently and received it by 11/30 - a clear, of course... just to drive me insane.

I broke down and ordered it that same day. Mine didn't even ship for 2 weeks and I had to actually get on the phone with Hot Topic about it (something I usually do not do because I work retail and totally understand that stuff happens). When I finally got my Luna in on 12/21 (Yup... a whole 3 weeks after I ordered it) It was severely damaged and I was heartbroken.

Apparently this sort of thing happens a lot - or at least it has at my local Hot Topic. They were pretty upset about it too and ended up getting together with corporate. My Luna has since been replaced (it arrived yesterday) in much, much better condition. I will be trading it to my best friend for his clear as he preferred the look of the regular.

Princess Celestia? Pfft I walked right in and picked up the clear variant right off of the shelf. My local Hot Topic only got 1 of them in and it's mine.

Don't worry kimmiwho, your luck doesn't seem as bad as you think.

I had an easy time when the ponies first came out and by the third wave, it became extremly hard to find in stores. consistent calling and stalking stores are the only way.
