As excited as I was for these.....I am beginning to think I was not supposed to collect these. Leaving the names of the places I ordered from out as I am giving them the opportunity to make it right.
So far......
Ordered Burnt & Basic from one store........They sent me the burnt hikari & an angry stay puft pop instead.
Ordered Silver Ice......Box arrived torn up (I am an in box collector on limited run items)

The burnt & rainbow ones look great though! Hopefully mid next week is a fun delivery day now.

I agree. Their online inventory had been going down 20-25 per day for the last few days. I don't know about before that, but those are pretty strong numbers. For reference, over the same time, their exclusive Creature sold around one per day (about 100 left) and their gold Skeletor even fewer (about 170 left). They've sold about 70 gold Spidermans in about 4 days (30 left) since they put them on their site, but the rate has already slowed a lot. If the Stay Puft also sold less over time, and they were still selling 20-25 per day, they must have sold a bunch.

Regular and Ice Freeze are up on Hot Topic's website for $63.60 right now during the 20% off sale. Then you can use HTBXJAN10 for an extra $10 off. I tried it and it totals out to $53.60 before whatever tax. Ship to store and you make out like a bandit...comparated to their full price at least.

edit: Looking at the pictures I do not really see a difference between regular and ice freeze so it may be the same one listed twice yet differently?

Thanks for the heads up. That's a lot cheaper than I've seen the ice version at other places. Toytokyo has the regular version at $40 plus about $10 to ship. No idea why, as they have ice at $75 and burnt at $65

Well, that was quick - sold out again. I guess they just happened upon a very small number. I've bought a few of those random appearance items from hot topic before. A couple times it was fine, once I got a mlp Luna upside down in a box with a huge non-removable sticker on the back, twice I got figures with damaged boxes, and once I got a perfect condition mlp glitter chase variant.

I usually do ship to store, which is an awesome option, and I've had pretty good luck. It's only those out of stock items that occasionally pop up for a very brief period that have been such a mixed bag. Returns, maybe?
