How do you guys deal with tags doing this?

Has this happened to anyone else? I'd prefer not to open the box. Should I just leave it? Or is there a good way to get it to sit the correct way without damaging it?

It's my first Hikari, so thanks for the help!

I've have/had many of those, some I've been able to shake the crap out of the box and get it to fall.... sadly others still look like that cause the tag won't budge. Short of opening it, if a good shake won't move it - you are stuck.

I open from the bottom, slide the inside out far enough to tuck the tag into the side and turn the card on the bottom over, retaping it name/number side up.
My name is Carol, also respond to "Sho"

I take it out of the box and put the tag with the now empty box away in storage lol But yeah, I could see that as being annoying for in-box people.

This. Freedom from the plastic coffin is my method of choice as well.

For those who like in box display, I have had excellent success using a flat razor blade. You can cut the glue if you just slide the blade perfectly flat, very slow between the round dot and the box. Open the bottom (my preference) fix the tag (grab the card too if you want). Close the flaps and re-stick the round tape. No one will be able to tell, the glue on the round and the glue on the box meld back together. Shaking I have tried never worked once yet, but I still try first.....

Is there really any price difference between a sealed and unsealed?

If you don't want to risk tearing the bottom while opening the sticker, just use a hair dryer at HOT setting for a few minutes. Slowly use a very sharp razor very delicately to peel the sticker open on one side as the heat releases the glue. This will not damage the sticker or the box. Once you have re-seated your pop, simply carefully fold the sticker back into place and tada! you are done!

SECONDS, not minutes. Hot air dryers put out extremely hot air, which WILL melt the plastic window of the box. So be very careful.

But I agree, heating up the glue will make it extremely easy to temporarily remove, then replace, that little circular sticker.
