Freaky Tiki...?

Postby eastWOLF » Fri Oct 23, 2015 3:58 pm

Did I miss my chance to get a Freaky Tiki hikari? After seeing them at SDCC I was hoping some would show up at NYCC (along with a few other things) but that never happened. I know there were 3 colorways the purple, the green and the regular. With 2000 pieces I'm surprised we haven't see the regular one show up for sale online or from Toy Tokyo.

Anybody hope we get more tikis?

I think the Tikis are fantastically well done, I still kick my self for not grabbing them or at least 1 at SDCC.

I've been hoping they show up as well. Haven't seen many on eBay either.

I grabbed the bluish one (I think it's called "Summer Breeze"?) but I haven't seen any sign of any of the colorways since SDCC. It is a really bizarre one but one of my favorites because of how different it is than the rest of my hikari.

2000 is a big edition. At least those are bound to show up somewhere. I expect to see the LE300 ones somewhere, too. Who knows where, though. Figuring out where to get the Hikari is part of the fun...

Can't wait to grab one of these too! Also, hoping for another Oni variant at some point to pop up. Asia Hikari is soooooo underrated.

I really want at least one of these guys. I would be happy with the brown but for some reason few seem to be popping up for sale, surprising for a 2000 run. Hopefully more show up somewhere soon...

I'm also surprised that more of the brown ones haven't turned up. I was lucky enough to win an auction for the blue/green one a couple of weeks ago, but still waiting for it to arrive.

Kai, I failed you and myself. If I had more money i would have picked up two of each. At least we got the Oni right? Next time I won't make that mistake. Carol, any chance i could get a peek at the neon design on the back?
