KAIJU GODZILLA HIKARI....Pics Inside.

So there was talk about some "new Godzilla" on ebay that nobody wanted to pull the trigger on. I was able to work out a good deal with the seller and bought it...and I sure am glad that I did. As many of you know, I have expressed my dissatisfaction with the Godzilla Hikari mold, but WOW...seeing it in person changes my mind completely. I'm VERY HAPPY that this is my first Godzilla. Not only is it an awesome colorway, but I HAD to open up the box and take a peek at the card just so everyone would know the name of it, as there was much mystery surrounding it. What a SHOCKER it was when I saw the card as well....take a look at the pics to find out why I nearly filled my pants with stool.

Thanks! Yea when I saw the card said AP, I squealed like a tween with Bieber Fever. My pictures are kind of crappy, but the vinyl has glitter scattered throughout. You can see it in some of the pictures!

Hikari are considerably more costly than POPs, however a lot of POPs far surpass the price a Hikari will ever be.

Talk about being blown away...couple weeks ago bank robber joker was 40 bucks. Now its 90+. I was going to buy it the other week and didnt...and now evem the gemini 2 pack is 190+ while it was 75 a couple weeks ago!

According to the seller, he got it from "a friend at Funko"...whether that's true or not, I haven't the slightest idea.

Seeing the sculpt in person looks way better than the glam photos or even photos of the actual piece posted on the forum. Has me itching for the other colorways now, but I was really hoping this was GITD, honestly. Nope...not yet.

Totally agree on the sculpt. It is a hard to photograph piece, none of the glam pics did it any justice.

Hoping some release info on this version pops up soon!

It is an amazing piece in person. I should've taken pictures in my kitchen where the lighting is better. The purple on the spine plates is really nice!

Even looking at my own pictures, the only thing that comes to mind is that cheapy toy dinosaur I kept posting pictures of. In person it's completely different though.

If I didn't already have the original version in-hand I would not be able to dig your pictures as much.

It is a Premium Hikari, so most likely $80 price point.

Freakin' sweet! I knew he was an awesome looking Godzilla Hikari and my favorite so far but it's cool to see he had even more surprises unboxed. Congrats on acquiring such an amazing item and thanks for his title information so I can archive him correctly!
