Question, since you have them all saluting, does that mean you have Mickey Mouse Hikari on the opposite wall?

Been a while since I posted a photo of my collection. Figure since I am up to date now with the ones I want this was a good time for a new photo or three.

We had water come in during that historic rain event...we're discussing how to maximize shelf space in order to keep everything off the floor "just in case"...my dilemma is that i display in box for stacking purposes (would need so many shelves) and if i take them out of the box, then i have to store all those boxes somewhere in case i ever sell.

And here I was worried when we had a 4.4 earthquake 2 weeks ago! I can deal with a few Hikari and Iron Man figures falling over, water damage is a whole other beast!
Since you stack could you buy/build an elevated platform to stack the boxes on? Raise them 4–6" to cover the beginnings of a flood. Growing up in Baltimore we had basements with flood issues, I remember people having platforms in basements when I was a kid.
The wire kitchen style shelving could be an option too.

Re: Your Display The Hikari Way!
I'm thinking i could do shelving at least 4" from the floor...stack a couple tiers, have another shelf and so on...hikari was not damaged, i had wood shelves on the floor.

Re: Your Display The Hikari Way!
The ikea Besta shelf system might be a nice option. They sell feet 4-6" tall. Not sure on the width of the shelves with Hikari boxes inside. Could be an option though. That or wall mounted shelf system, hikaris are not too heavy, with a few thin braces or stud mounts that could work & give you more flexibility.
If you have not guessed yet I love doing collection display shelving.

Re: Your Display The Hikari Way!
These pieces are great out of the box. I plan to take that tag off their hand too. Just haven't had the time. Was excited to get them out of the box and onto the shelf as quickly as possible. The arm length bothered me when I first saw this line, but it's grown on me. It's interesting to see the new Buzz seems more realistic than the previous stylized look. I think buzz looks amazing btw, my favorite sculpt so far. I don't even collect Disney but had to get one.

Haha considered not having that visible in the photo, but couldn't. Still figuring out a way to get my proto in there without it face planting.

Maybe an acrylic box? You can probably find the right size. Although it would probably break up the aesthetic

Alex, currently I'm looking at some doll stands on Amazon. Pretty cheap so it might be worth a shot. The IM bank protos all seem to be very top heavy. My 1/6 and production piece stand pretty flat

Museum or Quake tack putty might take care of the issue as well. Craft stores and Home Depot carry it.

Not a bad option, I started using it here & there since moving to the earth quake prone west coast a few years ago.

I didn't even realize I had so many Nicole! With the Kaiju Godzilla from the Funko-Shop, it will be my 21st Hikari when it arrives, which isn't nearly as many as some, but considering I only started getting Hikari's in December it's cray cray
