EDIT- Sorry, got so excited about the ride that I neglected to post the pics of Marty and Doc

I don't think it makes much sense. I mean I know the POP was done, but it's not like Doc Brown ever became radioactive at one point in the film.
I mean if they wanted to make a more accurate simple variant, I guess metallic/Chrome Delorean would be really cool. Other variants that would make sense would be if BTTF 3 cowboy Marty was made, then a dirty variant with noose or something.

I'm sure the score is actually much more in favor of dorbz rides but you get the point

Hahaha! My GF says the Pop version reminds her of a dog squeaky toy. It's made out of nasty soft vinyl, like the Scarface Caddy. So yeah, this one will be a big step up between the material, the much higher cuteness factor and... EINSTEIN!

I love BTTF!!

My thoughts exactly but with the rising popularity I shouldn't be surprised. Still disappointing though.

That's the trick, Funko: Just keep making Back to the Future stuff and we WILL buy them.

I'm glad I am not alone, I don't "hate" Dorbz per-say, but I definitely would prefer the franchises I collect in POP! or Mystery Mini form. They are the two Funko lines I collect, though I may be tempted to buy these(along with the "Supernatural") Dorbz if I found them for the right price.

I am a huge "Back to the Future" fan as well, so I may become a hypocrite and snag these at the right price. Hell, if I can buy a 25th Anniversary bluray set, then turn around and buy the 30th Anniversary set then honestly I'll probably get these.

I feel your pain, friend...and I went all out and bought the "flux capacitor"-edition 30th anniversary set that included a laughably cheap cardboard recreation of the flux capacitor and the entire (unwatchable) animated series. Why? Because five-year-old me will not rest until my entire house is decked out in McFly-themed merchandise.
So actually, Funko, let me redact my statement. Please don't make any more BttF merch, for the sake of my wallet and financial well-being.

zaghawk wrote:Kind of agree with you on that one. The POP Ride really does feel and look like a dog squeaky toy. I don't know exactly where among the POP Rides the DeLorean was made, but I'm assuming it was one of the first models given the material used.
I know with the TMNT van and I believe the Deadpool Truck the POP that comes with them is exclusive for the Ride. Not sure if that's the same case for most Rides now.
