question about bvs dorbz vault

Postby reederboy117 » Sun May 15, 2016 5:54 pm

So why did they only vault the batman and superman dorbz? why not the rest of the line? Does anyone know how they go about vaulting? Like were these the most popular or are they just the first to go? dont really understand why they were the only 2 to go lol

They prob base it on prior sales and what companies keep ordering. If they see sales dropping off, vault it.

I figure it has to do with the poor reception the film got. And film merchandise is usually only relevant while the film is fresh.
I bought a Mystery Mini and thought it was cool. Now I have shelves covered in Funko vinyl products. What Happened?

We discussed this in another thread.
They roll the protos down a soapbox derby track. The winner gets a chase, the loser gets vaulted.

Best possible but not plausible explanation yet.

Do they do this with Pops too? Suddenly I think I understand why the (roundish rolley polley) Cheshire Cat gets so many exclusives.

Originally yes, but then they changed it to Turtle Races. A proto is strapped to a turle...like a jockey. The winner gets a chase, loser gets vaulted.

Either or I suppose. Though if they do new ones I would request them in pop form.
