Dorbz Ridez checklist... gone but not forgotten!

Funko Shop item today FINALLY closes out our Monster Cereal Ridez set!!! YAY! And they closed it with a bang, this one is really nicely done! A hearse, gotta love that! And check out that screamin' ghost hood ornament! The email says Booberry glows although Brett got one a while back as a generous gift from Brian and his Boo is clear but does not glow. So we'll have to wait and see the production versions before we know for sure.

Consolation for those who cannot get the regular 3 pack due to prize. Although.. I was thinking that the Count Chocula Ridez might be around $50? So..wouldn't be cheaper to get the 3 pack.. lol

Speaking of Chocula, if Booberry really does glow then that means all the drivers but Chocula are glow vinyl. He is the only one that's metallic. Strange! I wonder if Funko will issue a glow Chocula separately, would be cool to have a full set of glowy cereal monsters.

I did a little work to my Booberry Ridez, added some lights to the car and inside Booberry and clearcoated the car. I even drilled out the teeny tiny eyes and mouth on the hood ornament and stuck an LED in there :-)

The grille teeth glow in the dark. There's also a skeleton head in the back window that glows and has some LEDs shining on it. Such a fun Ridez!

Also got my Ghost Rider in yesterday and wouldn't you know it, I barely had him out of the box and he was already hitting on chicks! Looks really cool, Funko did an awesome job on the sculpt!

Thanks! Yeah I really love the GR! I ordered two of them, was planning on trying to cast some flames and install LEDs but as luck would have it Benny (benz_custom_pops) beat me to it and I just bought his lol

I'm planning on doing a lighted Frankenberry too (I bought an extra to do that with) but I FINALLY got back to work on my hobby room so my other projects are on hold for a while until I can get at least half the room set up (the Ikea furniture is piled in the back of my SUV right now and I need to get it out of there).

Haha! Well what happened was Funko briefly posted it on the Shop, when they did I came over and updated this thread with it and linked it to their picture. Shortly after, it was taken down from the shop. So apparently it was put up by mistake. I left it up thinking it would come up soon and that no one would probably notice it was there :-)

But it's been almost 4 weeks now and it still hasn't gone up! Hopefully tomorrow!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I'm a Dorbz Ridez freak, so it was great looking through this thread. I have almost all of the Dorbz Ridez except the Banana Splits, and I just picked up that Ghost Rider the other day. Very much looking forward to seeing that Creepy Coupe available!

Thanks! Man I so wish the flames on Ghost Rider were translucent like that, especially the ones on his head, you can barely tell there are LEDs in there.

Wish I'd pulled the trigger on some BIN auctions when the BatKeatonMobile was still "reasonable". All of the walmarts around me show in stock on Brickseek, but they're actually the Beast w/ Blackbird that are physically there (ambiguous skus). Sad panda.

Back when they came out they were actually pretty easy to find which surprised me given the low production numbers. I just poked around eBay and it looks like the prices have come up but at least they're not crazy-expensive given the low numbers. Did you see this auction? Might keep an eye on it, it could potentially be a good deal if no one else bids:

A local friend just found a couple of them last week and he's been looking for months! So they are just now starting to show up in some stores.

It's absolutely brilliant, I love it!! Sure the truck is a repaint of the Chimi van, but what a perfect reuse! And that Freddy holding a cone in his hand, man it's just too cool :-)

Kudos to the Funko designers, they are one creative lot for sure!

I bought an extra Chimi truck to convert into Sweet Tooth's ride, I need to do that soon or Funko will beat me to it lol

I updated the checklist with the two latest reveals:

030 Aladdin & Abu with Magic Carpet (2017 SDCC exclusive)

031 Storm with Stealth Blackbird (Walmart exclusive)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Blackbird!! Even though it's a reuse of the black version, how cool to do one in clear!!

That Magic Carpet ride though, ugh. Maybe it'll look better in person, but as it stands that is my least favorite Ridez so far!

Why is it your least favorite? The detail on Carpet is particularly great. Plus it's so different from other Ridez which is cool.

I Wonder if Creepy Coupe will be after SDCC or for SDCC. With Freddy's Bday and the Pop Monsters releases, I hope we don't have to wait too much longer.

Well, probably because I'm a hot rodder. I LOVE fast cars and motorcycles. I have a 3 car garage packed full of my toys :-)

I like Ridez and Rides because they appeal to that side of me. Some of them have been a little iffy for me, Moana's boat and the pirate ship weren't my favorites but I liked them OK. But a rug? No, I just can't wrap my arms around that lol

But it's all good, Funko offers variety because it's not possible to make everyone happy with a single item. So for those of you that like this one ---> =D>

I don't, but that's OK, they've made plenty of other Rides and Ridez that I do like, and in many cases love :-)

I will still get this one though because I am committed to staying 100% on Ridez and Rides.

I really want to do that but right now I'm trying to get my Fundays entry completed (it's a fairly ambitious project :-)

) And I'm trying to finish my studio project too. So it's probably going to be a while, but it's still on my agenda!

I really thought we'd have it before now. Next week will probably be another Freddy, then the end of July I'm sure they'll be putting up SDCC exclusives, so hopefully we'll get it in the pause between those two?

Updated the list again, the D23 Tauntaun is 25 so that fills the last hole in the numbering sequence up through 32! I mean 06 is still vacant, but I think that's because one of the two 05's was supposed to be an 06. So that one will no doubt never get filled.

Soooooo, Star Wars!! Opens the door to all kinds of new and exciting Ridez!!!! :eek:

I wondered about that as well, licensing issue maybe? Brian called it a Ridez when he hinted at it, and the number fits into the Ridez numbers. But yeah, the "Ridez" word is conspicuously absent!
