...and no edition size numbers on the stickers for the in-hand pics on eBay. Would be so much easier to gauge my spending limit if I knew these were a LE ____ instead of the possibility of 1000 or 10,000...who knows.

Really wanted the GOTG sets, but everything's so expensive. I don't know how much they were at D23 but since I'm not rich, I can't pay more than 50-60 shipped for BOTH of them lol

seems like they're all 50+ PER set. #-o

Unless they drastically drop in price I guess my GOTG set will be forever incomplete.

Yes! Han really comes off!

Fortunately I was able to get in today and get almost everything I wanted. They sold out of the Han Solo on Taun Taun before I could even get to the con but I worked some internets magic and found someone still in the con and bought it just to avoid having to wait overnight in line. I actually asked a few of the employees as did other funatics I know and we almost all got told the same thing: no restocks, even for the next day. They all claim that whatever they have for sale is on location in their backroom. They also didn't know quantity limits earlier in the day from what I was told so nobody knows until tomorrow.

Prices were a bit higher than I thought they would be. Here they are:

Han Taun Taun Ride - $34.95
Cantina 3-pack - $39.95
Star Lord and Rocket - $24.95
Drax and Gamora - $24.95
Red She-Hulk Rock Candy - $14.95

Glad I nabbed a Han Taun Taun on eBay yesterday because....well....I had to have it. I assumed he was $25ish so I guess paying $79.95 shipped isn't tooooo bad since those are big to ship.

That really seems like such poor planing to me, it seems like D23 works a lil different then other cons but to just put it all out there and not spread the stock out? by sunday they are going to have a booth with a few lone shirts and some books. I do hope that maybe its a, what I call, a Hot Topic secret, they have to say no to..... in this case I dont know what the benefit of hiding information would be but hoping.

I didn't try this morning but I heard all they had left was the Cantina 3-pack and the Rock Candy. When I went yesterday it was around 4pm and there were only maybe 20 sets of Drax/Gamora and 7 or so Star Lord/Rocket. Not sure whether these will slowly climb as word spreads that they are completely out or if they'll settle eventually. Dorbz are great but not even close to the same following the Pop line has so its hard to gauge in my opinion.

I can't obviously speak since I wasn't there all day but the confusion seemed to happen first thing when the con was just opening. A friend got in and had 3 of each in his hands to help fellow funatics and was told by one of the employees that the quantity limit was 5 of each item and then only to be told at checkout that it was limit 1 of each item per day and per guest. It seems like some people did slip through though because I've seen comments on IG about people getting away with 2 or more of the Taun Tauns. I think the staff was just poorly informed so people took advantage but there was still somewhat of a limit.

Thank you very much for the info! That is the hard part in deciding what is a good price on the secondary market for these....dorbz aren't as popular but these seem so limited. Eeeeeek. And so close to SDCC. I'm off to stalk eBay some more. I guess if I find a set at a price I am comfortable with I better just bite the bullet. Thanks again.

hopefully they will "find" more stock in the back. I mean how can you sell it all in one day to me that just crazy.

I found both gotg 2 packs on eBay in a bundle for $80 shipped. I stupidly hesitated for 20 mins. Went back to buy and the seller had increased the price to $110. Doh! She who hesitates pays more lol

I have decided to wait it out a bit. I only want the gotg packs. I feel that people will buy the Star Wars dorbz even though they don't like dorbz as it's Star Wars. I am hoping gotg doesn't have that sort of following and only real dorbz collectors (of which there aren't as many) will want these and prices will start to settle. I'm either going to be really happy I waited.....or kicking myself I waited . The joys of collecting! Lol

thanks for the pictures. I am a little surprised the han taun is less than the 3-pack. I would hope storage would not be the issue they didn't have more. since Disneyland is 1 block from the convention center.
