New sparky's pop?

Im hoping a Sparky's pop is made. It would be a nice tribute

Sadly & very unfortunately Sparky’s isn’t what it once was... There are NO toys in Sparky’s anymore..it is under completely different ownership & is a purely chocolate and a sweets-style shop now. Although it would be very cool and retrospective to see a Sparky’s pop on the Funko production line today, this one I can’t see happening.

I went up there to the Universal City Walk to check it out a couple days after the documentary and it was an extreme, profound sense of sadness seeing it like that, especially after knowing all it had been, along with the significance of it in the early history of Funko. I definitely wouldn’t want a Sparky pop holding a bag of beignets

A sparky pop or wobbler would be fantastic! I walked into the store last week just to check it out after seeing Making Fun; I wish they still sold toys.

That is a huge bummer! I was there about 2 years ago, thought they still had some toys and pops floating around. I remember going there in the mid-late 90's before the Funko heyday, sad I never saw it in it's wobbler prime.

This would be awesome! But like josh said it's more of a sweet shop now and most people don't be even take the time to look at that. They just grab a bucket of donuts and leave.
Awesome idea though, seeing it in the movie was fun to learn about.

Thanks for the pics, and I had the same urge. A friend who works at Universal told me it was devoid of toys now. Looks sad seeing the pics.

same here...after seeing the documentary...I too want to see a sparky pop and they also had a drawing of the original funko mascot before freddy...that would also be cool if they made that

I remember going to Sparky's when they had Wobblers. I always thought they were cool to look at every time I went, but I never bought any. I wish I would've gotten into them at that time if for no other reason than to take part in the early Fundays. It is so awesome that Dave has video of that first one.

A Sparky's pop would be so cool. I remember going to Universal as a kid and wanting so badly to go into that store, but my parents didn't want to risk it . If only they saw how many Pop! Figures I have now .
