Not your MVP (Most Valuable POP) but your MFP (Most Favorite-est Pop)

Postby Nerdfulthingz » Tue Feb 20, 2018 2:30 pm

I'm curious to see what you all consider to be your FAVORITE Pop in your collection! Not the one that's worth the most money...but the one that is invaluable to you! Yes it could be silly to say your favorite Pop came out of a clearance bin or is totally random but that's the point!

Mine is Tinkles with Ghost in the Jar! (see...random) I snagged the proto of the ghost in the jar at Fundays but missed out on the Pop! Fortunately my thoughtful Brute gifted to me for my Bday last year which was a huge surprise and it now sits proudly with the lil ghost proto next to it!

What's yours and why?! :compress:

Congratulations in completing that proto set :)

I'd say that my MVP is my SDCC Sloth with Supes shirt from The Goonies. Saw it on Mercari for a good deal even though the box was badly damaged, but I don't care so much for box condition, anyways :P

I don't think I can choose just one, because it would have to be the first four Conan Pop!s. Before the craziness, I was able to attend all four shows and get them signed. On the last show, I actually got on stage! So I guess, it's not just the Pop!s themselves, but the stories and experiences that came with them.

For me, I would have to say my Indiana Jones with Idol Pop from SDCC 2016. He looks so cool with his whip and him holding the idol.

My favorite pop that I own would have to be my zombie Merle. This was my grail pop a couple years ago and had a lot of trouble just tracking it down. Plus I'm a big walking dead fan.

My MFP has to be my signed Wonder Woman. It’s the original common Wonder Woman but she was one of the very first pops I bought and I’ve had her signed 9x by different comic writers, artists and voice actresses that have worked on her since the early 70’s.

Gah! How do I even decide on one? I'm temped to say one of the Muppets or Fraggle Rock characters, but I honestly see those more as a set (as in if I have one, I have to have them all). So, if I can say a set, it's easily a tie between Fraggle Rock and The Muppets with Jurassic Park really close behind.

But, if we're talking one and ONLY one single Pop!... Gotta be Bigfoot. Don't even have it yet (I must... MUST!!!), but that will easily be the number one single Pop! as soon as I do get it.

If it is just based strictly on looks, probably Hawaiian Shirt Stitch... if I'm deciding based on sentiment, the very first OG batman, which happened to be my very first pop :)

My Favorite Pop is FN-2187. That's what got me into collecting. You may see just three blood stripes on a standard stomrtrooper, but I see Finn's entire character arc which is the main distinguisher of Force Awakens from the past, and just the rebooting of Star Wars from back in 1983.

I'd have to say my favorite is the Kingdom Hearts Halloween Town set. Both Kingdom Hearts and NBX were two of my favorite things growing up, and never thought there'd be any, let alone this many, collectibles based around it. Plus, all 3 just look amazing in Pop! form.

A close second is the Batman: The Animated Series Scarecrow (for the nostalgia factor), and the 1st release Captain Jack Sparrow, which holds a special place in my heart for being the very first Pop! I ever got, given to me by a beloved family member who's no longer with us.

Mine has to be the Fatman that was given out at Fundays last year, I wasn't able to get it in person, but a friend on the board helped me get it. I am a die hard Kevin Smith fan and having that Pop in the collection is truly amazing!
