Marvel and Disney bobble because of licensing issues. Someone else owns the license for statues and action figures, the only way Funko can make Pops is to have them bobble as a separate licensing category.

Wow, that's crazy that the ability to bobble comes down to even licensing.

Same thing with star wars being bobbles and also including the stand but I can't remember the reason for that one.

My older son is a collector and likes to take them out, my little one rips their heads off if he gets one. We’ve talked to him about it and he’s getting better. Still sucks when it happens

I understand why some may not like the bobble heads on the pops, but I like them. Especially when you take them on the car and the movement of the car jiggles their head around.

My preference is to not bobble. Great for the one I keep in the car. But it just takes one bad spill for the OOB to mess up the head a bit.

I prefer the non-bobblers, myself. They just feel sturdier and more collectible to me. Bobbleheads have always felt cheaper and more fragile to me for some reason. I know Funko makes better quality bobblers than some other companies, but I prefer my collectibles to be stable and not looking like they're constantly unimpressed with me. lol

I’m ok with both, but I prefer non-bobble, because less of a chance of a breakage issue.

Yea like others said, the ones that bobble are star wars and marvel. I think its a licencing issue or something like that. Its also the reason why all star wars pops have a base.

Not to bobble
I actually skip the Marvel & SW POPs just because I don't want the bobble head. Which is a good thing I guess...keeps me from spending more money than I already do lol

Lol. That probably has to be a record for gravedigging. But anyways I collect Marvel and some Star Wars so I’m SOL on avoiding bobbleheads. I prefer not having the bobbles especially for protos.

I prefer non bobble. When I look at some of my Star Wars/Marvel Pops they appear to have long necks or floating heads because of the spring.

I thought it had to do with Kenner and the bobble head was to get around that.

Since all my pops are in a box, I'm now curious to see which ones bobble and don't bobble.
