Hey at least collecting pops is a form of entertainment, so it’s still your “entertainment” room!

Yep, that is true, but I have DVD and Blu Rays, Hahahaha

The trick is to only buy dvds or blu rays that come with pop sets lol

Dont forget to mention buying protector sleeves and cases to protect the Pops. And then if you dont have enough room to display, big plastic storage bins to put the Pops away ans safely store them.

My entire top storage section my closet is filled up with Pops. It's starting to spill out onto my dresser and part of my TV stand. Crazy to see the amount of Pops we've collected if any of you look at early pictures of your collections.

As a former big sneaker collector, that's what I had to clear out first to make room for my Pops.

unfortunately when i lost my job a couple years ago, i liquidated my pop collection for cash to pay the bills until i was employed again.
I do like the fact that pops are as good as cash as it didn't take long to sell.
The collection isn't back to what it used to be, but it's getting there slowly!

My livingroom and bedroom soon to be my stairway walls. It's so hard to keep up every week new releases at many stores. The 80s nostalgia pieces are a must for me.

I have hundreds of Pops in almost every room in my house. Star Wars in my bedroom, DC Heroes in the spare room, WWE/Marvel/Disney/Game of Thrones in my office room, and TV/Movies in my living room. I have a 2nd "family room" filled with even more miscellaneous Pops. I have never considered getting rid of Pops, my only option (to me) is to purchase a bigger home next time :roflmao:

That would be a good way of doing it, but no Batman DVD's have come with Pops.

Me and the wife have the second bedroom dedicated to Funko pops. It's full, and they are starting to spill into our bedroom. But it's so worth it.

It’s more on what I buy and how long I want them out. I just completed the stranger things 8 bit set so they are in front. My Harry Potter ones are in front of my walking dead at the moment, just depends

Ah I have a similar issue as everyone else. I used to have a mancave where I could collect all my comic stuff + funkos. Now they're all sitting in closets minus the small amount of space on my shelf. There is an extra closet that I'm considering trying to turn into a "display area" but not sure how that'll work out =)

My problem is even though I try to refine and scale down my collection...it keeps getting replaced with more within the line I want to keep....lose 1 pop, gain 5.......

Same here
I actually went through and reevaluated what I actually had. Got rid of those impulse buys and narrowed it down to what I actually want. No more buying every Batman because it's Batman kind of thing lol
Now I am a little more picky about my purchase so that has also helped slow the growth down as well.
Really isn't helping that Funko keeps releasing things I actually want to buy lol

The benefit of collecting "mostly" exclusive stuff is that the shelves don't fill quite as fast. That being said... you have to have some excess storage somewhere.

That's what I'm trying to stick to, but it's a constant battle to get my hands on these exclusives in the first place.

One version of each is something I'm trying to stick to. And I'm not a fan of unmasked pops so that's another way to cut down my collection. Still though, as mentioned, I have excess storage for the ones I don't have space to display! :embarassed:

What bugs me is how deep they are. Unless you're displaying them OOB and even then you have need tiered stands unless you don't mind them being one in front of the other.
