Is it weird that i've been collecting for 4 years now, and I just only found my first wild chase a month ago? Lol! We don't have all the retailers you do, so the ones we have are usually well picked through and stalked regularly.

My first chase was the glow HIM from Powerpuff girls hidden way at the back of a display case at a Gamestop. Couldn't believe I found one. I believe the only reason is that it was clearly hidden by the staff

First chase I found in the wild was Tiffany from Chucky. Found it at the hot topic at universal citywalk. It was a little beat up, but I was just happy to find a chase.

Its quite difficult to find a chase in the wild in the bay area, but my first chase in the wild would have to be Eleven from Stranger Things. I got lucky from a preorder at my local GS

Chases are pretty difficult when you walk into a gamestop ask if they have a chase and sa7s the last guy who came in just purchased THEM ALL.

I've found quite a few chases out hunting since I've been collecting... it's usually dumb luck and timing.... you can lurk and wait outside HT every day, but most people don't have the time to do that.
No need to call me sir or mister.... David is fine.

My one and only is a Spike chase found at a BN 3 years ago. It was dumb luck. Haven't found one since. I saw a bunch of Porgs at HT on force Friday but I was too far in line to snag one.

The employees at mine tell me its the same people every morning when theres a chase. I'm a teacher so I won't be getting any HT chase anytime soon unless I call in sick and get a sub for the day haha

:clapping: Congrats on your first chase, CJ! Hopefully the first of many! That’s such an awesome moment. The only chases I have ever been able to get in the wild are from HT opening; and only when they post the common on Instagram the night before. Definitely not as exciting as yours! :smt023

I have 2 "My First Chase" stories.

The first one I feel is less a true "Chase in the Wild" story as I learned that the local HTs were getting the Maleficent's in and one of the HT had not gotten their UPS delivery yet so I showed up there and was the 3rd or 4th person in line and about 1 1/2 hours later UPS shows up and they open the boxes and had about 7 Chase's so I got one! So I call this my planned staged "My First Chase."

The first "Chase in the Wild" was a Gru from Despicable Me from Big 5!! Yes Big 5 of all places! Was there to buy my kiddo a pair of soccer cleats and noticed they had a few Pops. Looked them over and there was a nice Mint Gru Chase! I was totally stoked! That's a grail for me even though it's not worth anything from a Chase standpoint! lol!

OH WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Mind if i ask what stores? I feel like here in NYC the employees hoard all the chases and don't even put them out. Either that, or they know other people that collect them and just give that person a call/text and hold it for them.

Sitting front and center on a Saturday night at FYE was the Mr. Bean Chase (mint condition), and a few days later at Hot Topic I got the Xander (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Chase (damaged in back bottom corner). Both of those are more than just a color variant so I was stoked.

Actually, I lied. I got the Old School Chase for The Rock, sent to me by Amazon, before those two I found in the wild.

I didn’t realize that the original Rock had a chase. I thought only the new one did.
