Congrats! When i found my first chase in the wild, it was the best feeling ever!

I've found quite a few chases out hunting since I've been collecting... it's usually dumb luck and timing.... you can lurk and wait outside HT every day, but most people don't have the time to do that.

The employees at mine tell me its the same people every morning when theres a chase. I'm a teacher so I won't be getting any HT chase anytime soon unless I call in sick and get a sub for the day haha

I think my first chase that I found at retail was the Chase Bob Rose at Target and I recently was able to get the chase 8-bit upside down will from target. First store exclusive chase I’ve found

The first chase I ever walked into a store and found on the shelf was the Walgreens Green Goblin. I've gotten a lot of chases since then, but that excitement of walking into a store and just finding one on the shelf that day was great.

I meant they're not putting chases in their pictures.... like the new IT pops of Georgie and Beverly.... they'd only include the commons in the IG picture.... so we're to assume they might have a chase.... I went by the store both times they were pictured but there were 4-6 people in line before they opened so I didn't even bother staying

Depends on the collectors at your HT. I doubt people are lining up at 2am though.

It just depends on what the Chase is. if it's a widely available Chase then probably not but if it can only be found at Hot Topic than I wouldn't doubt it

Congrats! I found my first TWO just a month or two ago, within a few days of each other. Sitting front and center on a Saturday night at FYE was the Mr. Bean Chase (mint condition), and a few days later at Hot Topic I got the Xander (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Chase (damaged in back bottom corner). Both of those are more than just a color variant so I was stoked.

Actually, I lied. I got the Old School Chase for The Rock, sent to me by Amazon, before those two I found in the wild.

I didn’t realize that the original Rock had a chase. I thought only the new one did.

No, sorry, didn't phrase that right. Yes, it's the NEW pop, but old school style. I guess the first one was old school style as well. Sorry to confuse!

My first chase was the Reptar Chase. Found it at hot topic just sitting with the commons. Which was strange because it was around 3pm and I think it was before the 1 chase per customer rule.

OH WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Mind if i ask what stores? I feel like here in NYC the employees hoard all the chases and don't even put them out. Either that, or they know other people that collect them and just give that person a call/text and hold it for them.
