yeah I know it's huge there, but it's also a huge brand here. way bigger than a lot of the other lines we get. just seems like an odd choice to have one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world restricted to such a small share of their market and not just in the games line.

As it is a Japanese property, I am going to scratch my head if Hot Toys Japan does not distribute it to the major Japanese figure shops. They don't seem to bother with any of Tezuka's characters or Momotaro (A Japanese legend) so maybe not. Funko proper should distribute these in the US themselves. Considering some of the weird stuff they do sell here it would be very weird if they did not do so with these. You will sell more of these than Bob's Burgers.

I do hope Funko does start distributing the Pop! Asia line to retailers in the US. That would be a win win.

They really should at least for properties that have a notable audience. Some of the releases don't have that but some do. Anime/Game stuff is usually a good idea.

I'll go on a limb and say that these will be available in the US. Its just too widely popular not to show up here.

I hope that even if these do get distributed in the US, the level of quality control will remain the same. I feel that the Pop! Asia line has better paint jobs than the regular ones.

It's going to be an eBay auctionfest if they end up in the regular Pop! Asia market.

SimpleToys notified on their Fb page that their Pop! prices will increase after Monday 10/12 due to the USD appreciating against the SGD. All new stock already has the new pricing but the old stock will have the lower price until Monday.

This thread is pretty old. But I do need help finding some Omamori Dolls to complete the collection. I'm still looking for Sakura in original paint and Emi in original and black and gold. There's also a Sakura, I think, in blue instead of the red? That one is pretty elusive. I've only ever seen it in one picture. If anyone has any information on these girls, let me know. Thanks!
This be Aud, o2thedbld, odd!
