Scented POPS!...

Now that we know Funko will be doing scented POPS! What characters would you like to see get the scented treatment? Will you be displaying the scented ones out of their boxes??

How about a popcorn-scented Pennywise lol

In all seriousness (though I would like that), there's very few I can think of that would be worthwhile. Ad Icons would suit it, a smell relevant to the Icon, Cookie Monster would have been a good opportunity flocked and scented.
I think the scented aspect is a nice gimmick, my Strawberry Shortcake smells lush and it's always funny seeing people's reactions when I tell them to sniff her and her cat.

What i want really is a Duffy Pop with a milk chocolate smell ... (Similar to the popcorn in Tokyo Disneyland)

When you say scented pops the first line that comes to mind is Strawberry Shortcake and then Willy Wonka.

Some cereal scented AD Icon variants would be cool.

I would like to see these scented pops but I don’t know if I would personally buy any. My thought process is, how long will they be scented for, what’s the estimated lifespan? I’m thinking they may be wrapped in plastic without it lifespan may decrease, this may also make them less attractive for in box collectors. I think it may be pricier, I would really like if they focosued more on the figure, too many times I see them with too many flaws, paint, pieces broken or bent, etc.

But really, agreed about the Charms, it does have a savory scent to it.

Although-- it would be interesting to see a scent of dead pool with his chimichanga... muahaha! LOL

Going by the ones they've already done, they don't cost more to buy. I've had a Strawberry Shortcake one out of box for the last year-ish and haven't noticed a decline in the scent. I guess the only difference for an in-box collector would be if they release a scented and non-scented version, and as far as I know the only one I know of that they've done that is the flocked Swamp Thing - there was a flocked version then a flocked scented that came out a while after.

I'm an In the Box collector, and I couldn't pass up the Blueberry scented one from the Strawberry Shortcake line, It is opened occasionally to show someone that they actually do scented pops because no one believes me.

I would agree with that. I would rather not have a crazy morning of sites crashing and broken hearts.

Those Strawberry Shortcake ones were a sleeper! Never knew I needed them until I bought them for a friend and left them in my room for awhile. The scent just got stuck throughout the whole room, in a good way of course!

You know what, for some reason I was thinking about the exact same thing. Those cards always had very distinct emotions that they evoked. And yeah, most of the series would have been pretty repulsive. But jelly belly made those crazy Harry Potter jelly beans that taste like disgusting things. so I guess there is always a chance!

I forgot about those Harry Potter jelly beans! They could make two versions of the GPK pops if some people wanted scented and unscented if some people didn't want pungent pops...but I think it would to their ugliness more justice if they were scented.
