I think this one is matter of time. At last year's SDCC they had the Baxter (Funko) and Usagi (Action Figure) Maybe is a sign.

There are so many variations they can do with this line. There were also the Universal Monsters that came out at one point and they will be an awesome addition to the line.

Usagi should definitely be a first ballot choice for the next wave.

Wait, when you say it's better than the original, do you mean that it's better than the original 80's cartoons that I grew up on and show my kids today? If that's what you're saying then I may have to also give this a watch
100% This is coming from a kid who used to have a bowl of TMNT cereal in the bowl that was included w/ the cereal box while watching the cartoon every afternoon after school.
Definitely give the 2012 series a go as there are so many nods to the original. You'll love the hell out of it as the casting is top notch. You'll even have new favorites too compared to the ones you had in the 80s.
Hmmmmm, I'm pretty skeptical of your comments, but after taking note of your cereal claim, you do seem qualified to make them I'll hunt down the 2012 series and check it out. Thanks man
I completely agree with Gooker- the 2012 show is SOOOOOOOO good! Aside from being a great show on its own, there are so many Easter eggs for old school Turtle fans. Heck, there's even a cross-over episode where they hop dimensions and meet the Turtles from the original series!
The casting, art, & music are all fantastic. The stories are all pretty good. Plus they do TONS of homages to other classic movies like Escape from New York & Big Trouble in Little China, not to mention a bunch of others.
I really can't recommend that show enough.

Hmmmm, I might have to look out for this as well. I grew up with the OG series, and watched it everyday. I think I still have all my original figures at my parents house somewhere too. If it's as good as you all indicate, I will need to look online for the series. Thanks!

A little off topic but has anyone checked out Turtles Forever? It's a movie (maybe an event?) with all of the difference iterations of the turtles coming together. While I thought the movie itself was just ok, its a real trip down memory lane and shows how the franshise has redefined itself over and over through the years. Check it out.

The articulation on these figures are just amazing. I know Funko will not disappoint if they make them.

Meh- it didn't seem like that much of a spoiler since they mentioned it in tons of the commercials back when it was first airing, but maybe I shouldn't have said anything.
Agreed on the Ho Chan episode, though! But my favorite will forever be the one where they come back to New York after being in the forest for a while. Even the music in that episode felt like a John Carpenter movie!
