I like retroprotection and everything, but I can't really justify $18/ea for a 10" protector.

They're very reasonable for every other kind of protectors, including non-Funko action figures and stuff.

He explains in the description why it costs so much, there's also a 3 pack thats cheaper per protector and if you wait for second wave the price will go down. I'm anal about my conditon so I just got 3 since it seems like 10in are becoming more common

I know and I believe him - I know he gets a lot of those protectors custom made and he spends $ to do that - that's why he had all the sizes before others got in on it, and that's why he's first with the 10" (and why they cost so much lol)... but still, that doesn't mean I'll shell out for those right away. I don't have any of my 9" in protectors, but they seem like a super deal relatively so I might grab those in case their price goes up :) I'm not against them, I'm just cheap cheap cheap :)

Oh, definitely. Actually what's worse than first world? Since there are people in first world countries that can't even get into sdcc or fundays.

Yeah I’m very worried on this I gotta ship everything home, so it’s gonna be interesting with the 10” if they have any.

Worse comes the worse, you could get some sheets of plexiglass and epoxy them into a box for it, heh. It would survive a fall from a plane that way!
