I got the Queen with the corgi just for the little corgi! It's so cute!

That's interesting! I wonder how it works then. But I'd love it if they expanded the line a little. At least adding Meghan for sure.

Haha, same. I got it for someone just because I knew of their love of corgis. I don't think they even cared about the queen pop.

Madame Tussaud's just unveiled a wax statue of Harry and Meghan and Legoland made Lego figures, too. There is so much merchandise available with Harry and Meghan all over it. I don't think their likenesses are as protected as we might think they would be.

That’s not really the same thing though. There are freedom of expression/press issues with regard to wax statues and Lego figures that are not intended for sale. I mean, Tom Cruise has a Madame Tussaud’s statue, and we know how that worked out with Funko with regard to one of his movies.

As for the unofficial wedding merchandise, I believe it’s technically illegal, but the Royals kinda just shrug it off because they don’t want the bad PR of going after people while the wedding is going on. It’s still an issue for an American company to do an unauthorized figure of an American actress.

I'm just guessing on this since I'm not an attorney, nor am I an immigration specialist, but Meghan is becoming a British citizen. Once she is, which could take up to five years from what I've seen, she will no longer be governed by U.S. laws. I'm guessing Funko would be able to make a Pop in a similar way they were able to make the Royal Family Pops. Like I said, it's just a guess, but that could mean that we may be in for a wait for a Meghan Pop. I'm sure Funko wants to make one and is probably already working on the logistics of it. With the world's attention on Meghan and Harry right now, why wouldn't they?

they'll definitely add Meghan to the line.... what about William and Kate's children.... George, Charlotte and Louis? I didn't know the royals typically don't have surnames but "Windsor" is usually put in that place.

I wouldn't be surprised if Funko asked Meghan and Harry and I wouldn't be surprised if they said yes its fine. They don't seem the type to care. They seem the type to set up part of the proceeds going to a charity or something. or signing them and auctioning off to charity

I find these creepy. Queen Elizabeth feels less so, especially with the corgi, but the others are weird to me. Like Diana? Unless her family okayed these, it makes me uncomfortable.

I’d rather see historical royals myself. When there’s a Henry II, Eleanor of Aquitaine and Richard the Lionheart, count me in. Or even Henry VIII and his wives - chases with the heads off where appropriate. lol

A historical Royals line would be amazing. I don't know if I would like headless versions, but I would love an Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII, and Elizabeth I. They should make historical Royals from other countries, too. Maries Antoinette would be fabulous.

At first I wasn't going to get these but when I saw a Princess Diana Chase on the shelf I had to. I grew up in a family that loved her, my mom still talks about how great she was to this day. I get why people are a bit uneasy about them at first. Honestly though it's nice to have a remembrance osomeone the world lost to soon.

These aren't really for me, even though as a Canadian we techhhnicalllllyyyyyy recognize the queen but not really. Even though I'm going to pass I know there are tons of people out there who will be/are excited for these so I am glad they'll be able to get their hands on these!

I felt semi-peer pressure because all my co-workers were going to be watching. But then I slept through it and just caught the highlights. I'd have much rather caught Ferrell's take on the whole thing
