Anyone know if the QR code on the Target Exclusive Owen Pop can actually be scanned?

If so, what’s it linked too?

So I'm hearing from someone who snagged one this morning that it is *not* scanning. Not sure if its just a device compatibility thing that is causing conflicting reports

I personally think its because the code is so small.

I don't know about qr codes, but DCPI 323-01-2127 worked today! Got mine:) I have a barcode as well, found it on Instagram.

I personally think its because the code is so small.

Definitely could be... Also, I was thinking the difference may be if its being scanned in vs out of the box.

Oooh got me curious! Here’s a pic if anyone else wants to try but I got “Your Website/Video/Promotion here”, if that’s accurate, the QR code isn’t tied to anything but that would be a great way for Funko to do something special!

My guess is that's just the way the eggs are in the movie. They might activate the code when the movie releases though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The movie opens up worldwide on June 8 (China on June 15), and North America will see the movie debut on June 22.

If you have iOS 11, you can just open the stock camera app to scan QR codes, a little notification appears to take you to the link once it identifies it.

Android should work the same way of scanning the QR code in the stock camera app, and bringing up the link. I believe as long as you have Nougat.

I don't know but then again I haven't tried. If it works Funko could make this a thing and have it tied to a VR Pop or a game on their website. But who knows.
