Why is the Snoke Pop so weird?

The image on the box looks completely different from the actual figure. The figure has one hand up and one at his side, while the Snoke on the box appears to be holding up his robe. What up with that?

Sometimes the concept art for the pop ends up being different than the finished product. Personally, I’m glad that on this one they went for a more inspired pose for the actual pop.

Different artist? The two were done at different times? Who knows? Interesting observation though. As long as the combination is the official one, and it's consistent, I'm not bothered by it all. Like I said, you seem to have a good eye for detail.

I think the finished product has more character and seems more like the Snoke of the movies than his glam. Nice for me, since I'm an OOB collector. The mold might change as they get more production photos, too?

I think the finished pop looks good. I like that the box and the figure is bright. And the pose is not blah....just with his hands down.

Speaking as an actor, maybe Snoke just wanted to give a range of expressions for his portfolio. He's got his sassy, hands-on-the-hip photo, his all powerful force choke for some hand modeling. Maybe somewhere there's a pouty-lipped Blue Steel Snoke and a Snoke who's "smizeing"

That pose says “WHHYYYYY am I the only pop at target??!”
