Best place To get vaulted or rare pops

Hi everyone, I am new to this and not done this before but I am looking at doing a road trip across America next year we are heading to New York, Washington DC, Route 66 finishing in California for San Diego comic con. Does anybody know where you can get rare or vaulted pops other than the usual GameStop, target shops etc. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Mostly online, the biggest thing is be careful, find a trusted seller and make sure it authentic

Yea, you'd prob have to go online like Ebay or to a store that resells pops. Rare Pops are snatched up almost instantly at retail.

You can always see if there are any toy or collectible shows to hit up on your route! Google the name of cities you will be going through along with toy shows. They will probably mostly be happening on the weekend but sometimes they happen on the weekdays. Frank and Sons in the LA area is a big one too (it's like a giant swap meet) where sellers have a lot to offer.

Frank and Sons Collectible Show in City of Industry, Southern Cal has a ton of stuff - I'll second that.

That’s what we was looking at doing . Just thought it would be a good idea to have some ideas before going. We aren’t going until July next year as we plan to finish is comicon .

Yeah I would definitely look up smaller comic shops along your route. You may even find vaulted Pops at retail if it is far enough out of the way. Frank and Sons is good to find rare pieces but be prepared to pay a pretty penny.

If you want to buy them in person then your best bet would be a local comic shop. Most major cities have at least a couple.

You can just say San Diego without the comic con if that’s the years we are picking. Those where fun times leaving Pops on the shelf and being able to pick them up a month or 2 down the line.

There's a chain called Vintage Stock mainly in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. I think there is one or two in Colorado and maybe one or two NW of that. But they occasionally have some gems. I found an original Gamorrean Guard before it was unvaulted. I also found a Ygritte and a Marge Simpson.

It’s a buy and sale app. Just downloaded it from apple/google store and type in what you’re looking for. You can find some pretty good stuff that way.

Yeah eBay is we’re its at for vaulted rare POPs, maybe as your travelling through cities check the local craigslist. You never know you might find something amazing fo a good price.

eBay is the best source for pops in general, especially where rare stuff is concerned.

honestly, you can get the best deals on stuff online. I've found that most retail shops or resellers at cons have a mark up compared to what you can find on ebay etc... but also you get to see the box for yourself at a shop/con so your ymmv
