Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
I'm forced into the bobbles because I collect Star Wars, but I wish I didn't have to because of the bases. I want to take them out of their boxes and I'm worried how much room they'll take up. I think they'd look cuter on their own.

I like the bobble heads, especially for the ones I'm willing to take out of the box. They make a great display and fun to poke at haha.

I like bobbleheads. That way it's easier to tell when earthquakes are happening since I live in California...

I prefer fixed but I understand why they need to do bobbles because of the way toy licensing works.
Just glad to have Star Wars.

I believe Marvel and Star Wars are mainly bobble heads.

Yeah, I keep all mine in the original boxes also. Rally doesn't matter to me either.

I much prefer them as vinyl figures rather than bobbles. I have a couple Marvel and it is really hard to get them up straight so they don’t look like their head is lopsided. I was thrilled that the Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts were vinyl figures as that is my main collection and I love that they don’t lean weirdly.

Definitely prefer fixed vinyl! I grab Pops by the head, and hate worrying about stretching the spring. Plus it’s harder to turn the head on a bobble

Indeed with kids around non-bobbles are preferred. Imagine coming home to find your collection "headless".

I'm actually curious now, what is it like when a tremor starts? I can imagine it can be quite scary with all the bobbling and rattling...

It's not too bad, depending on the large of one it is. Most of them I don't even notice.

Necrobump of a 7 year old thread, I do believe you have set a new Funatic record.
I kinda want to know what is the oldest thread to get necrobumped

Re: pops - bobblehead or not?
As much as I love Marvel, esp X-Men, and Star Wars....and have come close many times to caving(esp with Deadpool), I refuse to buy the bobbles.
Sure, maybe in box you can't really tell, but those of us who open you definitely can and they just are not the same to me. No matter who gets the treatment, I skip them all. I'm not against bobbles in general. I have a couple general non-Funko bobbles I like. But overall not a fan of them.
That's where Dorbz come in and fill my Marvel/Star Wars void
