I guess it depends on what it is, but I really would love a nice classic take. Especially on things like Sherlock Holmes or Nancy Drew. I will never say no to a Benedict Cumberbatch one though if they choose to go modern.

I think it would depend, for me at least, on which take got it right! If it's the classic version that everyone pictures, then 100% classic it should be! If they got it wrong the first time, but got it right with the updated version, then go with that! Go with the vision that is RIGHT!

It was my first entry to the world of MM, and yeah, it was ROUGH. But that was when I really started getting involved here, and started weighing minis and looking for info on layouts. Knowing is half the battle, right??

That being said - anything that doesn't need to be a mystery should not be a mystery! Just the subject of mystery, not a mystery itself!

Hahha, yes. I was like whaa, people know the weights? It seemed like too much commitment for me.

I agree that the mystery theme is mystery enough! No need to make it more complicated hahah.

Yeah, for all that I never manage to snag chase figures, pops are a lot less stress. You either got it, or not. There's no guessing!

Definitely hahah. There's no buying a pop and turning around wondering if you need to pick up another one because you already got that same mini

I appreciate the rec! I did look it up...seems VERY suspenseful! Which means I might die - I never do well with suspense! Still - added to the list for future reading, and again - thanks!

Ugh, tell me about it! I seem to split the difference - half the time I don't buy them and regret it (looking at you, TargetCon Captain Marvel!), or I do buy it and regret it afterwards (actually, also Target, but last year!). Some day I'll find a happy medium.

Of course, if we did get book line pops, I'd probably go all out buying my must-haves!

Hopefully the book line could include some graphic novel characters. I don’t think those characters would get a chance anywhere else.

They should do a Choose Your Own Adventure, then based on your answers, you get a random Pop at the end. Not very realistic, but I loved those books lol

That's the best thing about cons! You never know who you'll run into!

Me...I'm famous for running into famous people, and not noticing until after the fact. Spent an elevator ride with Misha Collins last year, CHATTED with him, and didn't notice until we'd all walked our separate ways and my friend whacked me in the arm and marveled over how cool I'd been not being a fangirl!

I am a HUGE book lover/collector. I've been saying for awhile we need book pops. Specifically YA ones... More specifically... A Court of Thorns and Roses and Throne of Glass. lol but until then, I will continue to make my own for fandoms they don't have pops for!
