Ad Icons Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

A small part of me hates myself for getting into Mystery Minis... but I have to admit that the thrill of opening up that black bag is so satisfying!

Thanks!

It really is satisfying, especially when you open it and find the one you’ve been looking for or even better, the last one to finish a set.

Keep an eye on your local Targets if you haven’t had a chance, a lot of mine around my area have gotten a case in so they’ve been the best chance to find the rares for me so far, even though I haven’t done so hot yet. If you can find a Sprout, you’ll lock in a Boo in no time

Funny you say Target, because I read the same thing on this thread today and looked up the DPCI then went out and visited one of my local Targets because of this. They had an entire case just sitting there. I couldn't buy the whole case, but the associate said because I was more polite than the last guy who demanded they let him buy the entire case, he let me buy 6 of them.

Definitely going to keep an eye out for them from now on.

Awesome! Sometimes being nice goes a long way for sure. Targets around here oddly have been the most consistent for myself in finding these cases. Hopefully you find Boo and the other 4 you need soon enough!

Thanks to both/all who supplied the Lucky weights .. looks like Lucky weighs less than Sprout? - which seems strange, but I guess it makes sense as Sprout seems to be more dense/thick.

They are pretty close in weights, so best thing to do would be to find a case that has two in the same weight range w/ Lucky being one per case than the other would be a Sprout

Lucky weighs more than Sprout... I keep spotting LUcky at 52.3g range and always paired with Franken or higher weight mini.

Sprout is 51.9g and paired with Owl (69g) or Mummy (lightest 45g) I believe...

Just grabbed a Boo Berry with a $5 eBay coupon so it came out to $24.99 shipped. Pretty darn excited! When I had checked a couple weeks ago he was around the $40 range and at that point I'd rather just throw in another $20 and get another full case. But alas, I check tonight and found one cheap! May go down some more but that's not a risk I can take with Halloween around the corner my luck he'd spike. All I need now is the metallic Green Giant as I've yet to see a Specialty Series case around town.

I've never tried to complete a whole set of minis like this (at least not the actual MYSTERY minis) and I think I got pretty lucky. Ended up buying two full cases and the bottom half of a picked over case and got every one except for Boo Berry. Only duplicate besides the obvious common ones is a Mr. Owl. Got a total of 30 boxes.

Thanks to one of my local toy shops mostly, I’m down to just needing Fruit Brute!

This is such an awesome series! That said, I wish these were available at more places besides just Target and specialty stores. Hopefully GameStops and Barnes & Noble get them soon.

GameStop got them in first if you preordered them. I’d bet BN GETS SOME. They’ve been on their website for a bit now so hopefully soon stores get em too!

Thus far I’ve avoided any commons besides green giant as I wait for my specialty series to come in. Hoping that will be fruit brute because that’ll finish off the set for me!

I’ve been harvesting some extras for my desk at work too lol so far I ha e yummy mummy, boo berry, mr. owl and Twinkie added to desk crew. I probably won’t get an extra brute for a solid cereal monsters group but I’ll try. Love this set

Why don't you look up the dpci on popfndr: 323-01-8585 and it will show you which Target base don your zip code carries them. Then call with the dpci and employee may be able to locate for you.
