Re: Your display, the Funko way!
Anyone here in an apartment? I am wondering what the best way to utilize space is. I have a ton of closet room and shelving but it's in the closet and I want to see them. I am worried about hanging shelves because 1. I know nothing about that
and 2. I am not sure this wall is great. Does the wall need to be super sturdy? New apartment.

I’d suggest bookcases. Less work and you don’t have to deal with installing in the wall and then patching the holes when you leave.
The Billy Bookcase from IKEA is a cheap option and provides a lot of storage room.

Thanks I sure hope it looks organized, it was a pain in some areas to keep certain lines together without running out of room. Now it's just a little tough to put in new additions, but we do plan on expanding to more shelving someday soon.

With all the extra closet space, would you be able to take doors off and put the bookshelves IN the closet?
I've been thinking about doing that with some 'extra' closets. I just need to figure out where to put the doors

Oh, that's a good idea. That's how our closets were in the side rooms when we bought the house. They have built in shelves in the closets and had the closet doors in the garage.

Ah, yes...the garage...yet another area in my place that I need to clear up. Come to think of it, for me, I 'may' be able to put the (sliding) doors in between the back wall of the closet and the shelving unites (that I still need to buy also). The area of the closet is wider and taller than the door openings, so that may work for me.

Running out of room fast. 2000+ pop collection with the majority in storage. This is what I managed to bring into the man cave and display. 3 large storage racks and pops from floor to ceiling.

I could but I still think it wouldn't be easily displayed. The big walk in is in my bedroom and you wouldn't be able to see any of them without walking through my bedroom into my closet.

yeah, I would guess a walk in closet may not work as well. Hope you can figure something out though.

You're right! 3 racks which are mostly full. Roughly 100 pops fit on one shelf, and there are 12 storage shelves. Not counting the top near the ceiling and my IKEA bookcase. Close to 1500 in the room and maybe another 1000+ in storage. I really need to do a solid count on everything.

Thanks Steph! I wanted to go OOB at one point, but I'm so far deep in pop protecting all my boxes that there is no looking back. Plus, it would take me forever just to unbox everything.
