Wanted to share my Funko room display update. I finally got all of the shelves delivered and set up for the main wall. Huge thanks to my wonderful husband that set up the shelves, mounted them to the wall and made sure they were all level.

The left two shelves are all HP/FB but I still need about 40 pieces between the two lines to be complete. I expect HP to take up 3 shelves in the near future. In the meantime, I have Freddy and Funko license pops displayed on the right along with most of my Dorbz collection. The Dorbz line is slowly growing in size and I expect it to take over a few more shelves.

We are thinking about move some other lines into this room over time but not sure what will show up.

Next up in decorations and wall hangings.

Hope you are enjoying the progress. It's been a challenge but a real labor of love.

Awesome. Definitely a room off limits to the little ones. I bring mine in from time to time and they must hold my hand. They still want everything!

Haha, I do the same thing. They are mesmerized everytime they step into my room. :drunken:

Love the new main displays Steph! Take alot of work to get everything put together, but came out awesome. Organizing my room and collection is therapeutic for me. I can spend hours moving stuff around. Good luck completing those lines! Cant wait to see those shelves full of goodies!

Thanks so much, organizing my collection is very therapeutic for me too. Dusting them is more of a chore though, unfortunately. Hopefully keeping the dogs out of this room with help with the dust problem. I'm hoping it takes me awhile to complete these lines. Gives me something to search for and a goal in mind. Once I complete it, I'll have to move onto to something new.

I'm sure they will fill up in no time lol

I’m happy to be moving to a new place in a couple of months (before SDCC 2020 of course) that I will be able to finally display my collection (about 700 to 800 to display, about 2500 total). I love keeping them in box, but due to room I may display OOB.

Boxes for the boxes! lol

We thought about folding the boxes down and then labeling the inserts but that seems to be way too much work and didn't really save THAT much space. I think we will eventually break them down. We found long totes that are a pop high that fit under the bed. They fit 16 pops in them (and can also do 2-packs and 3-pack but not 6-inches) and we have 8 of those under the bed. Then we have file boxes that fit 12-15 boxes (also fits 6in pops and pop ride boxes but less fit) that we have stored in closets around the house. We have a giant box that we keep 10inch boxes in but will need to come up with another plan for those as Funko starts to release more 10 inch pops.
I try to use boxes as risers in my displays whenever I can to maximize storage and display space. You can see some of them used as risers in this picture.

The lights and risers came from amazon after a quick search for 'detolf lighting'. Ran the cords for the lighting thru a hole in the top probably made for such things and wrapped the cords along the internal metal frame that holds up the shelves. I think it came out looking pretty good!

Here it is updated with everything now! I have every ad icon that exists that I wanted (except GITD Boo Berry).

Had to move my autographed ones to the floor and are currently sitting in front of the closet until I can find a better spot for them.

The left two shelves are all HP/FB but I still need about 40 pieces between the two lines to be complete. I expect HP to take up 3 shelves in the near future. My wife and I have talked about putting a painted piece of wood up as a shelf near the ceiling and putting high value/signed pops up there. Kind of like a display shelf just up higher somewhere in the house. (food for thought)
