This is so true for a lot of the sports, I'm so happy we are starting to see some of the greats from that era, I hope they go further back also for all sports! I would love to see Larry Johnson get a Pop! With a Chase of him as Grandmama!

HAHAHA! That would be a great idea!

They'd be cool as 6 inches too, so that they can display with the regular pops nicely and show the size difference still

The Shawn Kemp one has me wishing they would do exclusive stuff of athletes at more local conventions. I know they e done some random exclusives like Rhode Island and Dallas’s, right? Why not add in Phoenix, Indianapolis, Miami....could be a fun way to cater to the home crowd.

That's gonna be a lot of Shaq! lol

I remember you could complete the rainbow colors from all the teams he's joined:

Miami - Phoenix - Los Angeles - Boston - Orlando - Cleveland - Phoenix
for
Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue - Indigo - Violet

Woop there it is!

Loving the duo pair-ups: Magic/Bird, Payton/Kemp, Shaq/Penny!

Postby **capnchulo** » Fri Feb 21, 2020 4:42 pm

Love these Hardwood classics, definitely picking up Payton and Kemp. I wish they weren't all in the same pose though. They have done movie moments, give me sports moments with an oop from Payton to Kemp.

I thought all of them in the same pose was underwhelming... like Bird should be shooting, Shaq should be dunking or at least posting up, GP in a defensive pose.

I'm excited about these new players, but how can you have a Penny pop and no lil penny? Funko, please tell me you have a surprise up your sleeve lol

Postby **mactds** » Fri Feb 21, 2020 7:13 pm

Love that they made a magic Johnson pop!

I'm astounded with each release that the champs still haven't got a pop or two. Can't look at the line without getting angry now.

Same - of all the players they could make, Penny was an interesting inclusion. I'm sure it all comes down to licensing, and there are more coming, but stoked nonetheless!
