How much do they usually offer? I feel like most Conan's are capped around $100 now
I remember them offering $200 for the ones from Grand Hyatt Manchester

I’m legitimately surprised that this hasn’t happened yet however it does seem like merchandising for the film as far as toys and collectibles have been extremely limited at this point

Yea that's true Golden Frieza and Ochaco were already pretty high so more people were hunting for Whis.
That was my thought because I never seen funimation getting that busy prior to the metallic whis. Not only that, there were so many metallic whis listed on eBay while the con was still going on

Yeah their earlier days with hyped items weren't great. I think the higher produced numbers honestly have helped them.

I understand that to prove pros are legit though. There are cases where people trade fake protos from China during the event.

Yea that makes sense. You can easily verify a fake busy bringing it to fundays and taking a pic there to try to validate it.

Yeah plus there are a lot of new collectors who may not be aware of the subtleties.

Not to mention the rare things like Hopper and Hamill that could easily be faked, so you gotta get the extra verification.

I have to agree with you. I could totally see people flocking to complete a Joker (2019) line of pops, me included.
I hope there are some coming. With award season in the books, the rumored announcement of a sequel could be coming up. Maybe then, we'll get our Joker pops.

There must have been a reason to not make pops for it but since there are no joker toys at all, there's probably something else behind it.

Right? I really wanted one, too, but couldn’t risk getting a fake.

I knew someone who got one and was able to sell it for $4k.

You are right. I haven't seen any toys for the movie at all. With the popularity of this critically acclaimed film, I don't really see toy companies not wanting to push any sort of products related to it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Probably because all of the crybabies were making a big fuss about the movie before it came out without watching it. Hopefully they will have some cool figures coming out.

Yeah its a bummer but theres always next year! This year was their first and like i told my friends the exclusives didn't warrant actually going to the con itself. Virtual con will be fun!
