Ugh, I hope Funko figures out whatever they're going to do soon, I need the unicorn pop!

I'm growing increasingly more curious if they're even going to do another release of Princess Unicorn. As I mentioned above, the wording in their anti-bot post is suspiciously vague. It could certainly be interpreted as we've abandoned this re-launch (possibly due to running out of stock after honoring all the bot orders?) Really, really want to be wrong.

Unfortunately I think your right about their being no more. But they do have factory’s that can make more...no..? And stating something ‘vaulted’ (which I don’t even think this dwight is) don’t mean much to me.
How do I know they ain’t making a batch in Vietnam right now.

Because the backend of their store showed stock wasn’t moving for over two hours? If they had stock at the beginning, and it wasn’t moving after that first minute, and then they pulled it, then they still have stock. It’s just basic logic. I don’t see the reason to be pessimistic about this. They’ll have another release for it in the near future.

I tend to side with this thought. If there were tons sold to bots and the "accidental" drop then there would be a whole lot more for sale on ebay. I am anxiously waiting for a Dwight Unicorn Doll release and am optimistic that there will be plenty for most.

Well. He arrived today. Princess and all in the $150 bundle of mystery exclusives.

Awesome I now have 2 10” biggies first one I had to buy in bundle for Pegasus, 2nd Biggie just so I could obtain Dwight princess unicorn.

The other 5 mystery 3.75” were Chris Washington (bloody variant), Buddy elf from Funko Shop (LE Funko Sticker on front, he’s holding a skunk or some creature), a rat fink, princess jasmine diamond collection (eh) and Luthor from the spastik plastik line. Not very mysterious....

They said the "had" the stock the day of the release, when they released the statement regarding bots, they said future exclusives and have now gone silent.....I find it hard to believe it's all sold out, BUT, I wouldn't be surprised.

Lucky I was able to get one from a friend who went to Hollywood the day they reopened, but I was going to buy it on eBay as I don't trust Funko with this one at this point. If this thing is really sold out, the price will sky rocket.

I explained why I felt their wording was impossibly vague, and asked for a clear yes or no answer as to whether or not they really *will* still be re-launching Dwight with Princess Unicorn.

I assumed they'd not respond. Today, to my surprise, they did. <Form letter copy/paste activate>

So, it sounds more like confirmation than what they tweeted out a week or more ago - but it's still very non-committal. One could argue "well, we never fixed the bot issue so we couldn't release it."

At this point I feel like they're just really bad at communication, and this is, perhaps, the closest we're going to get to actual black and white confirmation in writing that the re-launch has not be canceled, and ample stock still exists. But the very valid observation of "why have you had no trouble releasing all your Back to the Future figures, but yet you can't release Dwight" certain lingers in the air.

I sent them a reply asking for clear answers to the following questions:

1. Are there more Dwight with Princess Unicorn figures? Yes or no?

2. Will they be released? Yes or no?

3. If yes – will that release be announced, or will we just have to be in the right place at the right time?

I also made it clear that at this point, my bigger concern is that if we're going to be forced to reward a scumbag flipper, it would be better to know that sooner rather than later, because prices will only keep going up if, somehow, that really was it. Should I receive any better clarification, I'll certainly report back. But, given how long the first response too, I'd imagine there's just as good of a chance of them putting the figure up for sale (assuming they have stock to sell) before they ever get another email back to me.

My local store in Orlando tells me she might be delayed by about a week here. But to be clear, that doesn't mean she will be slow to arrive at every location. It's also possible she might be in a box unaccounted for that they open tomorrow.
