Disney has been releasing NFTs via Veve which is using the token OMI - and that recently migrated to the Ethereum blockchain. But you buy on Veve using crystals or credits or something which is tied into your credit card. And all the buying, selling, holding of the NFTs is on Veve app. I keep reading they are working on being able to turn your Veve currency into cash but not yet. So unlike Wax, which you can send back and turn to cash if you want, once you put money into Veve to buy - that's where it stays for now.
They did 2 Star Wars NFTs as well. Along with Marvel and DC.
Veve is fun for sure but it's not as easy to use as Atomic/Dropp. But the NFTs are 3D statues as well as readable comic books.
Will be interesting to see if Disney stays with them longer, (buys them) or goes on to create their own marketplace on the blockchain.
But I would love Funko Disney, Star Wars and Marvel.

Oh for sure, they are not prepared for that yet, DC was a close test though
Wonder if Disney will give them the license to create nft since it's such a lucrative market
They are making their own NFTs, so maybe they will expand to Funko, we will have to wait and see I guess
