I'm sure one will pop up. If I could have ordered a couple, I would have passed it along.

Did they change their checkout procedures lately? Now you go directly to paypal and no sign-in for the website?

I literally snapped my left foot in two places in August of 2007...by just walking.
I snapped my right foot in the same two places in July of 2008.

In September of 2008 they diagnosed me with Diabetic Sharko Disease. Which simply means that the bones and joints in my feet can turn into "liquid" and become very unstable. My left foot is still not fully healed yet and the right one has a long way to go.

98% of people with this disease have no feeling in their feet. I still feel mine and they hurt almost all the time. I have been on Vicoden & Percoset for the last 7 months and I take them both all day to deal with the pain, but it is working so-so. Pretty sad when you can pop 3 Percoset & a Vicoden and still feel pain.

The doctor tells me that I will recover fully and walk normal again...I question this theory sometimes. I have managed to keep my Diabetes in check during this rough patch of life, but my psyche is getting harder to keep in check. I have gained 50 lbs, I cannot do anything but sit, I do not get out of the house except to go to work and grocery shop, I cannot drink alcohol, etc. etc.

If I seem cranky sometimes ;-) ....well it is because I am. I try everyday to be positive but I am running out of juice.

Careful what you ask Jen ;-) , you might get more than you ask for!

....but thanks for caring sweetie!

OMG  I didn't know it was that bad. you poor thing. there are exercises that you can do sitting down that will help. I don't think that it will affect your feet. it's mainly leg and upper body. I am so sorry. there are quite a few people in my family with diabetes but I have never heard of that one #-o take care of yourself, once you can control the diabetes you will be feeling better ;-)

I have had Diabetes since I was 9 years old. I have had it under control. I have had it for over 35 years. After so many years of the disease your body starts to lose the battle no matter what you do. Before all of this started I weighed about 160 and worked out 5 days a week and was a very healthy guy.

I have "juvenile diabetes" not "Adult onset diabetes". People who get diabetes later in life (Adult onset Diabetes)) can control it with medication, diet and exercise and have no idea how lucky they are. The problem is that most adults in that scenario DO NOT take care of themselves and have bad complications which can be avoided.

My complications are from a lifetime of a disease eating away at my body and my inner organs.

I thought I missed this big time! Thanks for thinking of me! Oh, by the way did I tell you I love you? :smt060

You are welcome! I will send it to you once I receive it here. Just know now that shipping is very slow for me with my broken feet. ;-)

No problem!!! BTW, how did you break your feet? Did some obsessed woman kidnap you and you tried to escape?

I have a cousin who has had it since he was little too, I remember that he had to measure his food and he would inject himself in the thigh it always amazed me because he was so little giving himself shots. a good childhood friend of mine has it severe, to the point where she couldn't even work because of it. I never knew that it could take a toll on a persons body like that. wish we lived closer so that I could help you out. so sorry that you have to go through this :(
