I 100% agree. That’s one of the reasons why I jumped on the Funko train, the detail was getting better by the day.
Yeah, that’s why I think it’s important to vault previous editions and introduce new variants to the market. I personally would love to see Heath ledgers joker now with the experience and tenure funko has with molds. Tbh though; that could easily be made into a reality with a NFT Release as it does seem like they’ve been tapping into older licenses for some of these nft releases
i 100% agree. it wouldn't make sense to just use the same mold from an old pop for a rerelease or unvaulting because it should have some uniqueness to it from that edition. a new updated one would be a way to get new collectors in and also give a new variant for die hard collectors to add.
Yeah because as much as I’m mentioning they need to vault the old one, you better believe if they dropped a new mold, same pose I’d cop. Lol I don’t know if they realize that hardcore collectors of a character will cop a new mold and new collectors will as well.
But I do think that if they do the Dark Knight Trilogy as a NFT Drop - Nurse Joker, Joker with Pencil, The Dark Knight Unmasked (or in Bruce Wayne in Robe w Cane), Baine w/o Coat, Joker in Cop Outfit, Bank Robber Clown Variants, Harvey Dent - I mean they really have a buffet of Pops they can create new molds for a NFT drop or maybe even a new wave. I do think given the fact there is a new Batman (Pattinson) and James Gunns as well. . And the JL Flash ones; it prolly would be more strategic to utilize the NFT drops for the older Batmans. Lol
Ngl though; I can’t imagine the sheer hype that would be around Freddy as Nurse Joker (can you all imagine how crazy people would go?)
