I think its that way for the entire nintendo catalog. Zelda, Mario, Starfox etc etc. Pop rides Mario Karts or Star Fox ships. Freddy as Link. Oof so much money already spent lol

It could happen some day. I remember how long we waited for McDonald's and that happened. Nintendo is a whole different ball of wax though. Still...there's always hope.

McDonald's was so like that though. Years of nothing and then it felt like, without any warning, it just appeared one day.

I think funko should do a Mario kart line if and once they get the Nintendo license. Super smash would be legit also, I want a captain falcon pop doing the falcon punch.

I didn’t think about that LOL they are going to have so many variants of this ends up becoming a reality. From Blacklight to 8 Bit to Glow in the Dark to Metallic to Game Covers to Two Packs to 8 packs I think it’s going to be infinite variants lol

The Whole Mario Bros line would be awesome, as is the Original Robot that came when Nintendo was first released, I forgot the name of the robot but i vaguely remembering there being some type of Robot.

I'm actually still surprised that with the success of the Pokemon series, Nintendo hasn't decided to allow Funko (or more Toy companies) to use their IPs. I know they are still separate entities (Nintendo doesn't completely own Pokemon) but there's a goldmine here that is being lost.

Not to mention depriving us fans of our favorite characters.

I think they really missed an opportunity to drop a link pop when tears of the kingdom dropped. Would've been amazing. Especially if it glowed at the hand.

It just popped in to my mind, but I could see Nintendo teaming with Funko and giving the Pops some sort of Amiibo capability. It can’t be that hard to do, they did it to a cereal box once
