Is it just me or have the blacklight pops slowed way down after 2022 Fundays?

There was a glut of Blacklights for a while but they definitely slowed down recently. I remember seeing a lot of Blacklights at the discount stores. Maybe they just made too many and production has swinged the other way now?

That honestly seems like a lot of what happens with lines. Like those 2d or pixilated ones, they were everywhere from every line it seemed then I started seeing them for like $5 or less and now they don't really do them anymore.

A similar fad happened with the metalic ones. Something gets popular and they make tons of versions of the alternate paint jobs.

Target just released those daredevil pops so they’re still around. They’re pretty cool I suppose

I only get the blacklights if it completes a set that I'm into - otherwise, they just don't have the appeal for me anymore. 2019-2021 was the prime era for blacklight pops

That's because they're no longer selling out the way they used to be. They burned this line to the ground, which is unfortunate. I got a Blacklight Vecna the other day for $3 bucks at Target . I had already bought it months ago but I went ahead and just did a price adjustment.

They'll do Facet next . Daredevil is the first one to not be an exclusive. That's not a good sign (i.e., NBC Blacklights)

Yes. They’ll process it as a return / rebuy. If you use your redcard, you have 120 days, which is plenty of time for clearance prices.

Yup same here, the last blacklight Pops I got where Killer klowns From outer space. Just so I can keep up to date on that set.

Yah I think they started applying Blacklight to characters that were B-tier (like the Shuri, Sylvie, Falcon blacklight line at Target). I think once they did all the big names, the fad started dying down. But definitely a crazy run while it lasted!

There are some cool ones that were better than the standard, but they overdid it. At one point there were too many coming out and people started avoiding all of them. They might be MIA at the moment, but they could come back if they have a great concept.

I think GITD is the more popular line, seems like it has stand the test of time. With blacklight pops, they color scheme has to be just right.

I like black light better than chrome. I don't quite get the craze for chrome.
