They had NFTs in 1 of the Fundays a few years back, forgot which year tho but without physical.

I do remember that, like 2 or 3 years ago I think.

I thought there was a physical for each team mascot if Im remembering correctly. Ill have to look it up and see whqt the redeemedle was if any.

The mascots were in the box of fun...but there were no redeemables from collecting the nft was what I meant.

You did get your mascot, I still have mine, it was 500 piece. But they also had an NFT card that you redeemed on drop. There was no physical attached, but it was either a common or a 1 of 1 for each mascot. As soon as I found out someone pulled the 1 of 1, I just kept mine unopened.

I mean secondary actually wasn’t too bad for the fundays mascots. I ended up collecting them. I imagine if there was a physical tied, it will be a little different. I think the easiest & most convenient way is just to do the Epic, Legendary, Grail and Mythic Tiers in the Fundays Pack. Lucky collectors would get Fundays physis at random. Due to it being fundays related, maybe have the physical redeemables a little lower than normal. I’m not too sure about how the linguistics are behind the scenes with the Fundays packs but I don’t think dropping a slip with a QR Code for redemption in the Fundays box would be too much of a tall ask. I honestly wouldn’t mind if it was at At Home & Event box thing as well. It just would be cool to merge the Digital NFT experience with the annual event considering how important Digital NFT drops have became to the culture.

So I was thinking, what would you all think about a Funko Fundays NFT Pack that has a redeemable? I was thinking maybe 1:100 packs have a physical redeemable & make it a LE 100.

They did something similar a couple years back during Blacklight Battle where you were able to redeem the digital version of the mascots via a QR Code that was inserted into the box - but it would be suuuuper cool if there was a Freddy you could only obtain through these packs.

For instance, since we are pirate themed for fundays maybe a Freddy as Treasure Skeleton where only a handful of lucky pirates obtain the physical ! Could be something cool to partner with dropp on especially with the migration to the new platform.

Now I know this is far fetched but bonus points if the redeemable has the opportunity to redeem mystery protos. This could potentially be a way to get protos back in the mix & they could fulfill it later. I don’t know the linguistics behind that or how difficult it could be to pull off - but it’s just an idea. I figure if they could insert fundays tickets in a pack, a proto can’t be too far off the realm of possibility.

5000 packs? 500 LE ? & maybe 50 protos? (Disclaimer: I have no clue at the anticipated capacity for fundays but the numbers could be relevant to that)

Yea this is a great idea. I think full on ultra packs for everyone and then it’d get more in the digital side of funko!

I think having the matching nft to the pop you get in the box of fun would be cool. They can do what Disney pinnacle does and make the nft card have different variation (gold border, all gold) to add some variety to rarity to the regular LE 500 / 1000 they have for the pop.

I would like something like this for sure. If they want more NFT energy they need to do stuff like this IMO. Although I'm sure it's hard logistically as not everyone is into them and won't have the apps to open packs etc. Plus the internet in the MGH ballrooms is awful

Love this idea and here's how I personally would do it.

Everybody who attends gets a code for a pack. Each pack contains 2 NFT's - the mascot for the section you are sitting in and then one redeemable Pop.

Assuming there are 1,500 people each night you've got 3,000 total people between the 2 nights.

Pop #1 - LE 850
Pop #2 - LE 850
Pop #3 - LE 850
Pop #4 - LE 450

I believe the last several years the mascot Pop was LE 850 so this would work out and then you've got a chance to get a Grail which would be the LE 450 Pop. I doubt it'll happen but would be cool

I would love to see that. But is it worth the hassle? It seems like a big vocal part of the community has a big dislike for NFT's. I think it's a great way to still keep some low number pops while increasing fundays as a whole

I hope to continue to see Funko integrate NFT redeemable into live in-person events whether convention or Fundays!

Would be cool to see super limited redemptions similar to low counts of Fundays in the past.
