I think this is a great idea! However, I think online redemption would be the best way to handle it.

But for the prizes that are extremely limited, picking up in person is the way to go

Yeah, I only have been able to attend once, in 2022, but everyone got a coin to get a free random Proto. I got a proto of the Gargoyle Boar, which I guess is a Funko HQ exclusive, from Harry Potter.

Yes, that was a lot of fun to do. I do miss it. Wonder if they will have games again now that it is back at the Hyatt. One year I was going to try the can of corn chug but was afraid I'd get sick and miss the rest of Fundays.

I sure hope that it returns with the return to the Hyatt.
But I also hope I secure tix as well.

It would be cool to get something targeted directly to Fundays goers as far as NFTs go. I thought that was going to be the case with the Fright Night NFT sheet they gave us a couple years ago. That was extremely disappointing that basically became nothing of value.

I agree, I wouldn’t even mind paying more for more limited items. I think a lot of times they run into the issue of a licensor wanting a certain price so they set the LE to meet the licensors price but tbh I’d be willing to pay more in order for more limited pieces.. and a chance at a exclusive Fundays physical pc via NFT sounds like fun to me

I haven’t looked recently, but those NFTs have held some value no? I guess if they did it would be because of NFT collectors who knew what they were and the value.

Yah, I ended up with a blacklight bandit NFT that year and thought it was cool to redeem it. Hopefully there will be some utility with it down the road. Either way it was cool that they incorporated it some how.

You know it could be possible if they do separate sets of loot each night. And then if one table from each section won a prize for the super low LE (like they did with the gold Hopper in 2018 and gold Luke Skywalker in 2019. I know a lot of people are hoping protos will be back (myself included) but you just never know. Don't get your hopes up too high.

So I was thinking, what would you all think about a Funko Fundays NFT Pack that has a redeemable? I was thinking maybe 1:100 packs have a physical redeemable & make it a LE 100.

They did something similar a couple years back during Blacklight Battle where you were able to redeem the digital version of the mascots via a QR Code that was inserted into the box - but it would be suuuuper cool if there was a Freddy you could only obtain through these packs.

For instance, since we are pirate themed for fundays maybe a Freddy as Treasure Skeleton where only a handful of lucky pirates obtain the physical ! Could be something cool to partner with dropp on especially with the migration to the new platform.

Now I know this is far fetched but bonus points if the redeemable has the opportunity to redeem mystery protos. This could potentially be a way to get protos back in the mix & they could fulfill it later. I don’t know the linguistics behind that or how difficult it could be to pull off - but it’s just an idea. I figure if they could insert fundays tickets in a pack, a proto can’t be too far off the realm of possibility.

5000 packs? 500 LE ? & maybe 50 protos? (Disclaimer: I have no clue at the anticipated capacity for fundays but the numbers could be relevant to that)

wish had not hesitated. i was considering that by the time i decided to buy, the mythic packs were sold out. at least from the packs i got was fortunate to pull to kaiju protos so it worked out

Yeah tbh you need light. On top of that, I’m one of the weirdos that collects the fundays box packaging I have every single fundays box still to each one I’ve ever been to
