I don't have any experience yet, buying this way.
But I've created an account, and entered a wrong address. And there is no way to change the address. Why?
I sometimes wonder why these basic functions are not there, OR why they choose not to have these functions.
I've send an email with my question how to change the address, so need to wait for an answer.

It sounds like you can change it when you submit an entry.

"If you’d like to change the size/credit card/shipping address you submitted with your entry and the launch is still open, please return to the page you entered the launch from and log in to your account to cancel your entry and re-enter with your preferred details."

Funko has been weird with information too. Some stuff I read on X made it seem like the in-person Fundays box will be the same as the Box of Fun. Although I am hoping they just meant it'll be the same number of items (not the exact same pops/soda/wobbler/bitties).

Now granted, I know the people at Fundays will also receive a bunch of stuff from the prize patrol. But it does make me think twice about trying for an online Box of Fun since I'm going to be at Fundays.

I am really on the fence with this. I’ve been 50/50 with EQL. So I’m a little scared. I know I’ll definitely miss the thrill/stress of getting in fast, waiting to check out, and that feeling of accomplishment when you do get through before it sells out!

I do like the thought that this may help keep things fair and prevent one person from buying 10+ boxes.

I can’t wait to see what happens tho.

People can still buy 10 boxes. You just need multiple accounts.

The sad truth is that any anti-flipping system has ways around it. Everything has pros/cons.

Takes the stress out of the process using EQL but definitely isn't perfect. Either way, let's see if we get lucky haha

Wobblers, Sodas and Bittys are kinda niche whereas pops are pretty universal as far as collecting is concerned. I can see people not wanting this box because of the pop count being dropped to two.

When I started to collect Funko, I stuck exclusively to the Pop! line but as I got into it more, I’ve collected a bunch of SODA and I definitely wouldn’t mind a Wacky Wobbler. Not sure about Bitty Pop yet but I like the mystery factor so I’ll bite.

Kinda disappointed in only 2 pops but I get it, smart to include new lines like the wobblers, birth’s
Last year was great with soda and pops

The lottery system is interesting too

Curious how bots can game EQL? When setting up an account it asks for information that it seems would be hard to easily fake. Would love some education in how it might be gamed so I can properly complain about losing in the future

I think you're right about the Pops. You could buy the other items from the Fun on the Run box dirt cheap on the after market. FunDays is different, but I can see some people deciding $110 is too much when they only want the Freddys.

Changing the box from 3 exclusive Freddies two 2, with a bunch of filler makes me not want to participate this year. I really hope they don't mess up the stickers like they did last year. Best of luck to those who are trying!

There might not be issue with the sticker but we way jump back to high piece count. We never know

The old "random" drawing has always been more so of who you know, like the saying goes the rich get richer. The ones hating on it are the ones that always manage to secure the product or spot in line, the ones that like the EQL lottery are the ones that never manage to get a spot in line. I've been attending SDCC for the last 8 years, although I'm new to Funkos or should I say have taken a stronger interest of Funkos I have never been lucky enough to secure a spot in any "random" drawing the old way. I have managed to secure a spot through EQL for the mystery box a few weeks back so in my opinion this is a long time past due and I'm all for it win or lose.
