agree, better to buy now vs waiting when its more scarce and higher in price.

For a lot the con ones seems they’ll dip in price once heat of convention wears off..

I think the price will dip a little if the resellers dont move their stock but it will go back up a bit then stabilize. Thrawn Diamond was an LE 3000 show only so value should stay pretty well long term. If I had to guess, I’d say he will settle in the $125 to $150 range but he’s very affordable right now from what I’m seeing on eBay.

Thanks! Don’t want to make same mistake as I did passing on with storm trooper but don’t think it’d reach those prices haha

Yes me too. That said, I missed the Franny in my slot and it was still there on the fourth day I believe. Unfortunately I never got back into the booth so just missed it completely. boo

My wife had a Thursday 11 am slot and the only thing not available was Mister Sinister. However, we saw him on Fri or Sat n the booth. Maybe it isn’t arrived yet? :-k

I saw that Sinister was out a lot. That was surprising honestly. I love it but didn't expect it to keep selling out.

Some of the pieces were very limited numbers and others were very popular, it’s inevitable that they sell out. This is the reason why I don’t ever put in for the late time slots.

I never seem to get a slot and I always try for the 3rd or 4th slot of the day knowing most people try for 1st or 2nd. I'm wondering if it might be better to just go all-in on the first slot. Wish there was a poll we could follow for who tries for what slot.

I always only go for the first slot. Its too much of a crap shoot otherwise and it feels real bad (at least for me) when I actually do get into the booth and stuff is gone. I'd rather miss completely then get only 1/2 of the stuff I wanted. I know that doesn't make sense!

That was my philosophy. I offered a guy in line to buy one for me and he said $150. I got both Star Wars for $200. I am happy!

I do the same. I throw in a few leftover tokens to early afternoon slots, too. I can’t say it’s a winning strategy because I’ve made it into the booth via lotto once in the last 6-7 tries. But yeah, most years I’m sure whatever I’d want would be gone by the afternoon anyway.

Hopefully we get a normal sized Arceus everywhere. Hate entire species being locked to in person.

But also the big ones don’t make any sense.

I tried the throwing one or two in other slots but that did not work for me this year. Though I didn't win anything this year at all so....

I didn't get anything either. I go into the portal expecting not to get anything but hoping for the best. Hopes stay pretty low though lol

I usually try to spread them out and submit one per time slot but maybe I should mix it up. Haven't one in the four years I've gone.
