Error glow pop I see having value . But paint defect that’s stupid it’s mistake and damaged pop

I think there's a difference. An error such as the batman reverse color on the symbol adds value because it's almost a variation and its rarity. Same as Daenerys different color dragons error. Something like an arms missing or paint work is horrible doesn't really add value.

Sometimes paint variations can be cool like the metallic riddler chase, however, it shouldnt be considered an error

The only valuable ones were the “error” symbol Batman and Batgirl. The Tywin Lannister wasn’t really an error, I think it was a production change.

Yes those are awesome error pieces, there are also some other interesting ones like the fully chrome mandalorian, the blue sword tanjiro, and the pre release eren jaeger that arent necessarily errors but rather examples of where the figure was changed once in production.

What are your guys thoughts "error pops". Why do some of them have high value? When is it considered "error" and when is it considered a quality control issue?

The Kobe pops are difficult because there are a few versions where the pop is the same but the box is different (one 11 and one 24) but then the boxes themselves also dont seem to be unique to one figure.. so you cant tell which is the error if any vs whether people just swapped the figures and boxes around

Anime fans were going crazy for the black light reaction HT exclusive Zoro. The black light reaction was an error and others were re-selling the black light error Zoro for $50+

I think resellers are going to try and profit off anything then can including things like this. I have so many pops that react to UV light and I don’t consider them “error” but to each their own. collect what you like not what is hype

I have a muzan error where the printer wasn't properly calibrated so the entire box art is off center

I've gotten a mando pop that was static. They're usually bobble head but I guess they 4got the spring. Hes my oob pop

These "errors" shouldn't be sold for any premium, as its too common, sometimes the "error" being more produced than the "regular"
The real error pops i'd consider were back in the day, when the infamous error chase Batman had shown up

What's funny is when things like that happen and by coincidence I have it listed on my page they'll message me and ask if it glows or UV reactive. I'll tell them I can check and if it does the price goes up

Im sure. Occasionally i see ppl ISO the error version but they rarely turn up.

I always love seeing errors for pops and other items but don’t have any error funko pops
