Go to the shops asap as it appears they are putting a chase sticker on the outside of the can. It in response to people popping cans to find the chases which means it will be easier to find one (but also hard if the stores that get them dont buy them first to resell)

I feel like this may have been to prevent people cracking them open in the store to check for chases. Ruins the fun having the sticker there, but at least I can walk past now with no regrets if its not there

Not a fan of the sticker being on the outside of the can, takes away the fun of hoping you where lucky enough to get a chase, the cracking them open in store does suck but im sure Funko could come up with a better idea than placing the sticker on the outside.

I was just about to post this - I completely agree! What I loved about sodas (compared to Pops!) was opening the can to see which variant I received. But I’m not necessarily opposed to this change either. As long as Funko continues to make sodas, I’ll be happy.

Its honestly a sad situation for me. I remember this happening only once or twice in the beginning of sodas (Gold Batman and Flocked Muttley having distinguishing ways/ stickers to know its the chase) and I really hope it doesn't repeat.

Yea but at least if they do switch to this method, stores wont have a full shelf of open ripped up ones from ppl looking for chases.

This is a pretty hot character right now and with Halloween being the next "big" thing coming up, I wonder how the second soda using this approach will fair? I'm still up in the air about how I feel about this shift, but I'll give it time.

That's something I've seen a lot of people have a gripe with regarding the sticker being on the outside of the can rather than a surprise/mystery element. I figured that they may be missing out on sales with spoiling the surprise, but hey this is pretty pro-consumer.

I still think about that idea of making every Chase Pop a "mystery box". Would help even the odds for everyone
