I'm a bit shocked that these NFTs weren't more popular, given both how ravenous the fan base is for this show and the fact that the redeemable Pops! are super cool. Good luck to all of those who picked these up.

Yeah, this was a total bomb. Anyone who has the grail, congrats, it’s going to be less than 300 pieces or so.

This license would probably sold better if is was behind the NFT wall.

I think the release timing also impacted the demand for this drop as well... Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday.... There's only so much disposable income to go around sadly

This will most likely be the lowest count grail. I have the Front Man Grail and it is my favorite NFT pop they have made and was also low in count. This grail is also really awesome but just didn't feel like gambling. If it drops in price some more to sub $200 I might just end up buying it.

In the NFT world... piece count will not equate to value if the IP is still a disappointment. This is a very niche IP... and the lack of participation demonstrates it. Resale values will be very very low across all of these.

I came back to this forum after a few years to make sure I understand how this works. I have never bought any packs yet, but I dipped my toe into this world for the Star Trek Next Gen redeemables, and stayed for the most recent Stranger Things, but this is the first time I have been interested in a Royalty redeemable. After having researched the "burning" of packs last night, I think I am left with the following questions:
1. The digital pops that are in sealed packs can't change once the pack is sealed, right?
2. If the answer to Question 1 is yes, and they burned over 60% of the digital pops produced for this release, statistically speaking there should only be around 400 Charlies, 830 Dennis/Dee/Liam, and less than 2,000 Mac available to redeem in the world now, right? I know statistics is not reality, so there could be slightly more or less, but, you know what I mean, right?
3. Similarly, I have been assuming that 2,500 Ongo being available meant there were 2,500 of each Epic digital pop in the drop, so there should be less than 1,000 of those now too.
4. I have been assuming that the long lead time on redeemables meant that Funko was making them on demand. if only 400 Charlie's get redeemed, how sure are we that only 400 will actually get made? I have been in this long enough to remember all the Fugitive Toys exclusive Johnny Karate Chases that all of the sudden showed up as Funko Flagship opening night giveaways and flooded the market. While I don't collect with a focus on value, I also do not care about stickers, and would be annoyed to overspend too much.
5. Finally, I am only in this at all for the physical pops and have no interest whatsoever in holding onto the digital versions once redemption has occurred. For Star Trek, I only bought the Grail and Legendary digital pops and then dumped them, without even caring how much I got, which is what I plan on doing with Stranger Things. Now that I have a Royalty to go after, though, I am not sure how to proceed. Do royalty redemption tokens tend to go for higher than the cost of assembling the royalty set? The way Dropp works makes that difficult to research, but I looked at the most recent drop that had a snapshot (Universal Monsters) and the prices before the snapshot seemed on par with the token after. If I went for the set, is there any way to just give away or destroy the digital pops? I know mine would just get lost in a sea of nickel listings and sit there forever.
Thanks for reading this whole thing and putting up with my questions. I was not happy at all about Funko going in the NFT direction, but damn if they didn't make some awesome Pops from some of my favorite properties.

I can answer these for you:
1. There technically aren’t cards in the packs. When you ‘open’ them an algorithm runs to give you the cards. It’s based on the entire run so 2 is correct. There will be roughly 400 max of Charlie.
3. Correct here too.
4. Droppp/Funko have said they make all of them and destroy any that aren’t redeemed. You might remember when some of the ‘destroyed’ ones showed up at the first Buckeye sale, but so far that seems to be a one time mistake.
5. In my experience, it’s not too different for the royalty token vs assembling the set. Once you are done, you can give them away or burn them. I would recommend just keeping them in your wallet for now, because Droppp Arcade is on the way and it will use your existing NFTs.

And I just found the stats pages put together by popinstock.com, which is what my nerdy heart was hoping existed somewhere.

Time to hit the aftermarket. Struck out with all my packs.
