Jurassic World Mystery Minis

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Jurassic World Mystery Minis

Postby keyese » Wed Jun 25, 2025 3:58 pm

Just picked up this set at Five Below! Really nice details and a good mix of dinos. I wish they would have made a Lex mini though (still suffering from not having many female human characters in the sets). My favorite is the Mr. DNA for sure!

Thank you so much for saying these are at Five Below! I had no idea. Stopped by yesterday, and picked up four. Got the velociraptor (Clever Girl), T. Rex, dilophosaurus, and Indoraptor. Pretty thrilled with my pulls. These are easily some of my favorite mystery mini designs.

But seriously, out of Lex, Dr. Sattler, Claire, Maisie, or even Kayla, Funko couldn't include ONE woman?? Are they just using the fact that the dinosaurs are all female to "balance" this set out?

This is my own fault. I complained about the humans (the lack of female representation) in my former post, and as such, I have yet to pull a single human. However, I did add Blue, the Giganotosaurus, and Mr. DNA to the collection, so that's something. The search continues....

I finally completed the set and really loved it as a whole. Interestingly the dinos are smaller than the Jurassic World Dominion ones. Very happy with the Alan Grant Mini. Hopefully Funko makes a 3rd series and includes Ellie (maybe with the raincoat and Flashlight), Claire (Jurassic World version with the flare), Lex, Tim, Nedry and Hammond. It would be very human heavy but I think it's doable.

Ooh - thanks for the heads up. I only bought one at Target, and got the one I wanted (Blue), but maybe I can talk myself into more of them now, lol (twist my arm...) Agreed that this is a very well done set.
