Zack, heart-felt congratulations on having your own, live, mini-wobbler. I wish you and your family the best of everything. Very interesting "last wobbler" (Demonique). I haven't thought about that Wobbler in a long time. Good luck with the move.

Anastasis, huge congrats on the Wilky artwork. That is sooooo cool!! A lot of nice acquisitions as well.

This year just got a bit more hectic. Looks like I'm having my 2nd knee replacement in July #-o Not fun, but necessary. This is the main reason I've been busy--trying to get everything done in the house that needs to be done before I'm laid-up for a few months. So, from mid-July I'll be MIA again for a bit.

Since i'm here, thought I'd post for Wednesday. Last or next--either one :D

I look at this and it makes me laugh. It kind of says it all with how I feel about another surgery.

What a surprise (to me), it's actually Wednesday.

I was chatting with Anastasis (Glowman_Greco) and he put me in a Bone Daddy mood, so here are the only remaining Bone Daddy's in my collection: the gold LE21 Less Than Jake mini-Bone Daddy; the GITD "Less Than Jake" mini-Bone Daddy (there must have been at least 994 of these as they were inside the Less Than Jake cereal boxes and there was supposedly 1,000 of those, 6 of which had the gold mini-Bone Daddy); and the LE48 Mid-West Wobbler Summit mini-Bone Daddy from 2005. Behind them you can see the mini-Monkey Assassin and Gorilla Robot circus punks that Less Than Jake used to sell and sometimes threw out into the audience at their concerts.

Happy Wobbler Wednesday!!

Well, it's Wednesday in the Philippines, so I'm right on time (I'm sure Renard agrees) lol

I don't know about you, but I LOVE Wobbler banks. And these guys are my favorites. And El Kabong actually says, "KABONG!!!" Well, he used to. And now that I think about it, the Frankenstein Jr's aren't Wobbler banks. Oh well. They're still AWESOME!

So, let's see your Wobbler banks Funatics.

Thank you Max for making my dream come true.
I was looking for this Bone Daddy Mini Wacky Wobbler

Last but not least , a while ago I got in touch with
Rob Schwartz.
We exchanged a lot of emails and I learned so many things I didn't know about Bone Daddy.

So this week a package arrived full of so many memories from the old days of Funko.
I really can't describe my feelings for this unique man!

Merry Wacky Wobbler Wednesday, Ladies & Gentlemen.
Here's my first photo to the forum, inspired by Scotty's coin bank post last week, here's my Huck bobble bank with some other wobblers, hucks, funkos & vintage hanna barbera toys.

Shoutouts to the Glowman Anastasis, Scotty, Tate, Josh, Shaun P, Alleycat & TJ. Big inspirations for keeping the wobbler community alive and having great rare pieces. Have a good one everybody

Anastasis, yet another awesome rarity in your collection. It feels pretty good to have an LE3, doesn't it? That's a find you'll never forget. Thank you for the birthday wish--love that picture. Put a big smile on my face.

Collectemonium, welcome to the board and to the best, yet underappreciated, corner of the board--WOBBLERS! Looks like we have another Hanna-Barbera and Huck fan. The more the merrier. That was a great picture of cool collectibles. Some old stuff in there.

Here's a picture from my early collecting days. This was one amazing mail call. I love this picture. If this happy group doesn't make you smile, then nothing will.

Image

As a bonus pic, here's a pic from a post I did a long time ago, dancing a Freddy haul with each one in a TV or movie setting. I don't know where I found the time to make so many long posts. I was really busy back then. Now I'm not too busy--just lazy

I wrote this back in Feb 2013 to go with this picture:

Faster than a metallic Chase Flash, more powerful than a Hulk Wobbler, able to leap 20 inch Funko banks in a single bound. Look, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super Freddy. Strange visitor from a vinyl planet, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men, Super Freddy, who can change the colors of mighty protos, bend vinyl in his bare hands, and who disguised as Fred Kent, mild mannered toy maker for a great metropolitan toy store, fights a never-ending battle for truth, fun, and the Funatic way. And now, another exciting episode of the Adventures of Super Freddy.

Scotty, I dont believe theres a better Funko mail call to have ever taken place. All (or most) of the funko force hucks with matching prototypes, ALL IN ONE mail call... insanity. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day but I'm certainly far from first in line to getting there. If you dont mind me asking, what funatic had that crazy lineup before you?

Those came from a collector called Sting on the board. He had amassed a huge (and I mean HUGE) collection for his son. Not long after i began collecting, he decided to sell the entire collection. It was a huge feeding frenzy. I was able to pick up quite a few rarities.

It's almost Wednesday, and since I have to be at the hospital tomorrow at 6am for my knee replacement, thought I better post tonight. Not sure when I'll be able to post again, but I expect I'll be MIA for about a month. This is my second knee replacement, so I know what to expect, so no worries.

I've posted this picture before in its own thread, but thought it was appropriate for tonight. Especially with the SDCC announcement of 7 more PoP! Hucks to be had #-o Plus, I just love all those Hucks!

To those going to SDCC, have a great time. I still want to get to one more of those, so maybe in 2027. July 2026 I'll be in Alaska. Everyone stay safe, stay healthy. And I'll see you in a few...

Tate, Good luck. Those are tough ones, especially the Golden Freddy.

I missed yet another Wednesday, but since I'm here...might as well post something.

I watched way too much TV as a kid. I think I watched about every cartoon ever made in the 60's. The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends was certainly a favorite. I especially liked Sherman and Mr. Peabody's adventures, along with Fractured Fairy Tales. Rocky and Bullwinkle always entertained. Dudley Do-Right was the weakest of the show for me, but I still watched every one of them. lol

Yet another reason why I prefer Wobblers to any of the other lines. It's the exact likeness to all my best friends that just makes me love 'em.

I was dusting part of the collection yesterday--the ad icons. Thought I'd share the story of one of my rarer sets: the KFC Colonel.

As you can see, there are 5 variations. The regular versions are the white and black lettered "Colonel Sanders" on the red base. Not sure why the lettering color changed, but I think the black lettering was first. Maybe the black letters were just too hard to read against the dark red base. The gold-based 50th anniversary edition had a run of 5,000 and was sold at KFC, not retailers. The brown base with the orange-colored chicken is considered to be a mistake; not sure how many there are, but it was considered a bit rare back in the day. Some veteran Funatics referred to this piece as the BBQ Chicken variant. The gem of the set is the red base with the white letters that reads, "KFC 'What's Cookin' " This guy is considered by the bulk of my research to be a 1 of 6. As the story goes, Funko made 1008 of these for KFC, which they planned to use for a special promotion. Mike Becker apparently kept 6 of them and sent the rest to KFC. According to Mike B, KFC cancelled the promotion and destroyed the Wobblers--and a rarity was born.

Well, it's not quite Wednesday, but no doubt I won't log in tomorrow. I seem to miss Wednesday quite regularly.

This week I'm highlighting one of my favorite (individual) Wobblers. In my collection thread, I showed that I had a few select pieces on my desk. The blue metallic Huck has been sitting there for the last 9 nears. He was one of my rare duplicates. Since I thought he'd be better served in Tragic Shaun's growing Huck collection, I've had to figure out what to put in his place.

Well, another Huck, of course. But since i don't have any more duplicates, I've decided to bring one of my Hucks out of the case for me to enjoy close up. And I plan on rotating the Hucks every couple-few months. First up is my favoirte colorway--yellow. I don't know why I like the yellow Huck so much--maybe because it's so different--but he's my #1 in my entire colleciton.

Hmm. I seem to be alone in here. Sort of like two Scotty's staring at each other.

For those unfamiliar with these pieces, they are prototypes that never made it to market. Real shame. Not a lot known about these guys but they were apparently going to be promotional items for Scotty Cameron, who designed putters for Titelist. There were at least 6 versions. It was said that Brian sent 2 of each to Titleist, but they passed on them. Knowing Brian, he had more than 2 of each made. It was rumored that there might have been 4 or fewer of each.

I know longer have the Scotty in the sombrero as I gifted it to Kevin shortly before his passing. I was shocked with all the rarities he had in his collection that he didn't have a Scotty. Timing in life can be everything and I'm really happy I sent it to him when I did. RIP buddy.

Happy Wobbler Wednesday! Beautiful storytelling and awesome wobblers Scotty. RIP Kevin, he had one of the greatest Funko collections.

I know its not even Halloween yet, but I just got in these sick Christmas Rudolph Wobbler Prototypes. Got them displayed with an old non-Funko Hostess Store Display right now
