Are NFTs gone for good?
Does anyone else think NFTs aren't gone, that the new founder is finding out what items are generating revenue (genre's selling the most in other categories) and which aren't. LE pops are doing very well right now and NFTs fit the mold. There have been other categories that have failed, large sodas, gone. Candy filled pops, gone. Sodas, gone (not sure why, people seemed to like them). But NFTs that have numbers on them seems to be doing pretty well right now, so why stop making them unless you plan on revamping the system.
1) NFTs have been around for a few years and people still don't know how to acquire crypto to purchase the decks
2) Crypto has changed at least three times which means the process has changed and people have to learn how the program operates and how to load crypto to their droppp account
3) It was fair for people to get their hands on a few packs and they did pretty good on waffles
Do you think they're going to bring it back once they figure out a better way to give the average collector a fair chance to purchase NFT packs?

I enjoyed Funko Digital. It made me feel like a complete degenerate but that dopamine hit when you pulled a Grail was awesome. If they're still profitable for Funko, I have no doubt they'll return.

I went crazy for the second Funkoween drop. I wanted the Grail. I bought 4 Premium packs, 4 standard packs and ended up with 7 or 8 Epic cards, most of the Rares and just a few cards left to get the Royalty. Not even one Legendary! It was a disappointment for sure. But during the TMNT drop, I hit two grails! Talk about dopamine rush
I hope they bring them back.

I enjoyed them. Maybe they're putting a hold on it and once they find a better way like not so many releases close to each other it'll return

I partially agree with you. I believe they’re going down the soda route, gone but not dead.

I feel that when we started getting sodas with no numbers is when they ended. Hopefully with nfts we never see something like that if they come back

Right but sodas did make a brief come back last summer and I’m banking on the same for NFTs

And they seem to be giving them away every once in a while - I have a case load from Fundays.

I believe those coolers did them in. I hate to say it because I fell in love with the coolers at first. Also my fundays sodas from last year are collecting dust.

Or maybe take a year off and come back totally different. We shall see.

Hopefully. I can understand walking away from it since a lot of people didn't know how to acquire the currency to buy and got mad they had to rely on others. I've tried to help and even teach how to do it

I really enjoyed collecting NFTs. With the new CEO stepping in, I'm hoping he's taking a look at what the company is putting out there, what is selling, what isn't selling, what products are selling the most, and what can they tell are obstacles their customers are currently experiencing. Once he evaluates all that, I'm hoping he brings NFTs back but offers a better way for people to get involved with the NFT drop, maybe without crypto.

Yes, looks like they moved the product to online direct with the LE releases.

You do know that the ONLY reason NFT's were popular in the first place was because there were physical LE Pops attached to each set... are people wising up? Can Funko make money elsewhere without selling online cards... I never really understood why people would want a digital card... if I wanted to look at a cool card online, I can google the image... it's just me and my opinion. Someone else might think differently. I did purchase some of the NFT's, but only because i wanted to try and get the physical pops.

I wish I got into Funko nft’s/tried to buy some packs because they had some solid ones, like the Ed Bighead one, the Nickelodeon line. Oh well
Thread of vaulted pops I’m selling, 1200 piece Chaos, SDCC Gus GiTD, SDCC Freddy’s ride, SDCC Whis and 9 other pops.

I don't think people cared to much about the digital cards at all. The only reason people bought them was to try and get their hands on a physical pop. I want them to bring it back because it is fun to try and get one, just make it easier so the average collector can get one without learning about crypto.

I’d like them to come back, they were fun to get some unique physical pieces. I also felt like I could be a completionist for a digital set more easily without worrying about a ton of variants later on.

Sad to see this line end. Maybe some day it will return in a similar fashion. I'll keep my NFTs. Fun to look at every once in a while on my phone in the Tokenhead app.
