Have you culled your collection?

I have not but I have scaled back a lot. My collection blew up very rapidly, with some help from Whatnot. I lost sapce on my countertops first, then a bookshelf, and had to purchase some shelves from Ikea to put my collection on the wall. Now I have a vault of pops where I store pops, my wall, and OOB around the mancave. All together I'd say I have about 700-800 pops.

What I have started doing is rotating my pops on the wall. I'll pull some down to put new ones on, with plans to put some I've put away back on the shelves at some point. These are the pops I don't want to sell/trade but am ok with changing the scenery in my room with every now and then.

That’s a great idea. I have some christmas themed pops that I like to rotate in when the season is here! Always makes for a fresh look

Me and the bf bought those 27gal totes, put pops in by set and took pictures. Numbered the tote and made a folder on the laptop with labeled "tote #" and put the pics in there. Makes things easier to know where each pop is at when it's time to sell certain ones or if we're gonna get one autohraphed

Got mine down to about a 100. Used to need to be a completest with certain lines but once I let that go and just went with the ones I love, that changed the game for me.

Over the years my wife and I have amassed quite an extensive collection of Funko products. But we never really saw a problem with it until we decided to move cross-country. When I started loading our 16ft rental truck and realized that with all the boxes of Funko loaded, I didn't have room for over half our furniture. That's when we knew we had a problem. So when we got settled in our new place we decided to finally inventory our collection. Over 7500 pieces later we realized we either had to open up our own museum or start to downsize. So to answer your question, yes, we have culled our collection. But it's only out of necessity. We had to decide which genre's we really loved and downsized a bit. Currently we are around 5800 pieces. To which Star Wars (1205 pieces), and Disney (2513 pieces) are the majority.

It is. Luckily we were able to put our pops all in one room but then we realized how many we had and thought about space if we lived in a smaller place

I've culled my collections years ago to pops that I refuse to let go. It's slowly growing but not as much as it used to. I'm very selective on pops now and could care less if a specific line goes unfinished. Collect what you like and you'll always be happy.

Had about 2000+ and had to move out and downsized to about 200. Goodwill took the majority of them, but some of the locations hated the amount that I was donating.

I would use the Funko app quite frequently to check what I needed. Since I don’t purchase as much anymore I can easily remember off the top of my head.

I have a relatively small collection compared to many here but I have culled as well due to space. The only problem with that is, 'hey look at this extra space, I know the perfect thing to fill it up with'...it's a vicious cycle..

I have definitely culled most of mine. Now my collection is primarily autographs and G1 Transformers. I love seeing the new molds coming out, and honestly I'm glad there hasn't been any FOMO for me... yet. haha

Mine didnt get cut off but didnt really grow at the same speeds it used to. I recently went through the entire collection and reorganized everything trying to trim the fat. It honestly shocked me how many Pops I couldnt seem to part with and how large my collection still remains. At like 300ish currently
