Pop! Nooks

Postby renardchua » Wed Feb 18, 2026 2:46 pm

This personally is something I would want to collect - regardless of license, which adds an identity to your bookshelves.

Perfect for any booklover Funatics out there.

These are the latest ones announced today.

These were the first 4 that were announced during the Funko Panel at SDCC last year: Tony Stark, Harry Potter, Will from Stranger Things and Rapunzel. Also, Winnie the Pooh is already released as well.

I wonder how tall these are going to be and if they will be able to hold the weight of a book

I actually really like these and wouldn't mind grabbing a few but I'll have to wait since I have to cut back on things for the time being. Sigh

I did not think I’d like these. I ordered the iron man one so I could get free shipping on an EE order and I actually like it quite a bit and was pleasantly surprised

I just wish the size of the packaging was different so that it fit in current sized pop protectors. Clearly I’m an in box collector lol

This made me laugh so hard because I didnt even consider that fact until I saw this comment. Now I cant stop thinking about how itll be a pain to display aesthetically with the rest of the regular sized Pops

the level of pickiness I had to have when collecting 6 inch, 2pack, 3pack etc. Sucks because some of them just dont make sense as standard size Pops but displaying takes creativity

I’m so excited for this new branch that Funkel has done, especially for those who are also book collectors besides Funko pop collectors. I have a list of family members and friends that would love these and I am absolutely going to be getting these for them.especially the nightmare before Christmas

Random question but does the size of the book nook really matter to you or do you think it’s a big factor? Just curious

Maybe taking this in funk should make them in various sizes. Heck in different scenes. I’d really like to see that.

I could definitely see this with Marvel characters. Turning the Pop! moments into bookends. That would add some visual weight to the bookshelf ;)

I am excited to see what other IP’s. They’re willing to do for book nooks, especially for the IPS that they have that art book related such as Lord of the rings or Harry Potter however, my biggest concern is more of size if we can get them in different sizes or are the pops movable or are they solely on one side or can we get them matching or are they different from one book and to the other or more questions I have.

Yeah, the tough part will be if there are 2 I really like but they’re both left or right facing.

What if it was interchangeable? Like you can turn them around.

The librarian in me loves these, but weight would definitely matter; they also need rubberized bits on the bases to stop them from slipping under the weight of books.

Personally, I would love to see a line of author Pop Nooks--like, we already have an Edgar Allen Poe Pop, make that a Nook. Get me a Stephen King Nook, too.

That'd be amazing for poetry readers. I wonder how they'd make that work

I mean, I've seen a ton of soft toys, etc. in bookstores of Whitman and Dickinson, so I'm sure that you're able to license a likeness. I think the problem, though, is marketability.
