New Zoro Hot Topic Release news

Well the new Zoro is supposed to be heading to the stores sometime and may be as early as this weekend. How does everyone feel about the way this drop was handled? From Funko down to the retail store? There has been so much confusion, the store didn't even know when it was going to be hitting the stores. Crazy.

That was a mess especially since pokemon boxes released the same day

This release strategy is currently a disaster.

First who has time to drive to hot topic potentially multiple times without knowing if they will be there.

Second if nobody knows there is no accountability. Workers could save them for their friends or have their friends buy them for them. You could show up, the pops be hidden in the back or behind the register, and the workers just tell you they didn’t get any in and you would have no idea if they are telling the truth. At least w Tusk and Sanji there were stock checkers you could look up to see.

Much easier to get than I imagined. I was in line early but someone showed up right at open and got the last one.

I’m shocked by these prices. I thought they’d be in the 300-400 range. I figured the gold gol d roger was a good benchmark for this pop. Same franchise and same piece count

My store got 6 but we had no clue if they had anything or not until they opened. The associate didn’t come out to give tickets or anything like I saw some people get if they had pops there. So we all were nervous until the opened and we asked and she stated she had 6….. the sigh of relief was real

I went to my local Hot Topic around 8:00 AM and was surprised to see only two people in line, so I jumped in. Within about five minutes, five more people showed up. Around 8:30 AM, an HT employee came out to greet us and let us know they only received six Zoro. He said he’d be back shortly to hand out tickets. I got #3. It was fun hunting again, i guess waiting.

The people behind me were new to Funko. It was fun listening to their stories.

Great pop, won't have a shot in ____ of getting it . My area they go crazy and line up for everything so no way I will be at a hot topic weekly looking for it. Def not paying the resell on it just have to hope I get something someone wants

My local HT got 6 in last weekend but I was way too late. People started to line up at around 4am. Hopefully HT doesn't get anymore LE One Piece Pops
